well, i got dragged, kicking and screaming talked in to going to the assembly yesterday as a friend of mine was in the drama.
what a freaking waste of time interesting experience.
first of all, i had a tough time squeezing my larger than life ass bum into a seat that looked like it was made for a house-elf small child.

You know, I see no reason why anyone would go to the assemblies for the dramas - you can just associate with your local Witnesses for that..

Chevys you know whats funny is I laugh at things too much too, but its because I can't take life seriously anymore. For me its like I gotta watch myself so people don't get offended at me laughing at them, because I can't honestly say I am laughing with them - obviously if they are not laughing too! But I don't do it to belittle people or make fun of them, its just how I view life in general and that just happens to include people.

for myself: creativity is finding something where nothing was before...and then discovering that it was already discovered.
I'll say real creativity has a certain freshness to it, and is not necessarily a matter of a unique form that has not manifested before. It is not unlike those Mentos mint candy commercials actually, I always found that the idea of a Freshmaker is remarkably similar to the idea of beginners mind in zen.
For that matter, I will say real creativity is without self or ego - so it is not a quality attributed to someone. Most forms of creativity tend to be limited in a certain sphere, the most obvious example being the different types of art. Conceptually I find the most interesting and enjoyable type of creativity to be humor, someone with a really good sense of humor will come up with really unusual ideas, and it can be considered a type of intelligence. The thing is, real creativity would include the ability to create a new self, therefore one is not limited to a self that happens to draw really well or whatever - so in that way I would distinguish between someone who has vision and 'a creative person.' But you cannot say that person is really creative if that person is no longer the same person. Creativity, humor, and freedom (from your 'self') - to me these all go together.

And sometimes people use humor as a defense.. But really, anyone can laugh at a joke - but we all know the difference between someone who is really fun to be around with (fun-ny?) and someone who is just kind of into comedy.
One thing is there's a tendancy for people to think of humor as being serious or not, but if you look at something really funny its usually very creative too. I mean usually it surprises you and its not something that you would have put together in your head right?
