  Silly Things You Can Do For Which Jehovah Will Kill You...

  i was thinking about all the various people who the bible says have been killed by jehovah or his angels for various acts of disobedience.

  here are a few of the ones i thought of....feel free to add your own eating a piece of fruit (slow death, 930 years) picking up some sticks on the sabbath preventing the ark of the covenant from falling when the guy carrying it stumbles living in a city where your family has lived for generations, in a region where jehovah has "given" the land to his "chosen" people dancing for your victorious warrior father, not knowing he has vowed to offer the first one out of the house as a burnt offering.

  most of you know i'm a jw; i irritate you enough defending the truth as i know it- yet i admit a lot of the foolishness that sometimes rears its ugly head with my brotherhood...today it was the circuit overseer!

  wonderful man; very caring, very encouraging, very zealous!

  all this disappeared as his head bobbed up & down - endlessly- as he read the plain, stereo-typical talks from hq...if it wasn't for my wife- and the wonderful friends in the congregation, i would've walked out in the first 5 minutes!

  I care! I'm elated at the fact that those people took the time to protest. Reason: I know many in that particular hall. Little, if any, attention was probably given to the speaker and his worn out watchtower "memorial" outline. That, in and of itself is good enough for me.

  Two Elders at the door today; I wonder what they want?

  i partook last night at my new congo and get the two elder visit today from my former congo.

  actually it still might be my current one as jehovah is in the process of "re-arranging" the bros. and i'm pretty sure the change is not yet "official".

  i didn't answer the door and already left orders at the gate that no freaking jws are to be admitted under any circumstances unless the homeowner specifically requests so.. anyone want to guess why they need me?

  I partook last night at my new congo ....

  Perhaps they were interested in what you thought of the taste. Don't be such a 'meanie', they're really nice guys who are concerned for your spiritual welfare. Let them in. They have enough doors slammed in the faces. An annointed one shouldn't do that.
