  WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE FOR THE ORGANIZATION?

  we've heard how some are convinced that loyal witnesses would do almost anything if they were told by the organization to do it.

  some have even suggested killing if that's what was required.

  how far would you have gone for the organization when you were in its clutches?

  what exactly happened when the media went into the doos of bethel.

  Based on the changes,(i.e. the "donation" campaign for the printed literature) that have been made by the WTBS in the face of potentailly losing their free tax status I could not agree more. Points well made Kelsey007.

  i was raised in the truth, and until the age of 18, very active(although never baptized).

  i stopped going to meetings and out in service when i came to terms with being a lesbian.

  i just felt like i was wasn't being true.

  Wow lots of research. Some great points made. But in the area I'm in there is a "laundry list" of people who have just quietly gone off. It would become a full time job to track them all down, some have the money to sue if they ever were DF'd after all the years that have gone by in their absence. I know I would.

  it took about seven hours and putting 170 miles on my car, but i finished up all of the kh's i was assigned by lin and jesika (not very biblical for them to take the lead over a man like that!

  :I turned and said with a smile, "Oh, there yours to keep!" and got in my car and left. He was friendly but obviously upset by my presence.

  Now he knows how many must have felt when they used to do the same with all those wonderful "Kingdom News" tracts we used to leave in people's hands.

  former jw..new on the board and glad to see it so active.

  the latest round of "new light" in the recent km has reversed the rules and once again my family has been told to shun me.

  i da'd in my early 20's after being very active since childhood and have been out of the "borg" now for nearly 18 years.. i look forward to reading and posting as i get more familiar with the names here.. rgw.
