i am still one of jehovah's witnesses but am inquiring about information about rand cam.

i have recently been questioning my faith and the organization, due to some situations.

What constitutes a bullshit issue? One that has no merit in your eyes.

Well to those still in the organization it has merit, we go out in service to preach a seperation from the "WORLD", is owning stock in a company that has contracts with warfare technology, even if just being tested, in mind. Constitutes a moral delema to one that preaches "the good news". The organization would blast anyone who has these ties, but because it was gifted, then it doesn't count. HMMM.. this begs the question...If Jehovah guides the organization and this organization is no part of the world why would the intent of these stocks, 50% I might add, be unknown to Jehovah or us?

There are many issues I agree, but the truth is not bullshit, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

hello every body,.

i'd like to introduce myself, i hope you will well understand me (indeed, iam a 23 yeas old french girl).. i am very happy to see that several personn has lived the seam experience has me so they are abble to understand better what i feel and who can help us to live better ans follow our way forward life(i hope you will understand what i mean).. i was born in a jw's family, and when i got 12 i begin to ask me some question and have some doubts about this ''thruth".. when i begin to have my boyfriend (not jw) i had to lie...we stayed 4 year together but i never had sexual relation because i was affraid of consequency (even if i was not baptized).

but every times "brother and sisters" told lies to my parents, about me and about what i was doing with my boyfriend (but we never did anything).

Hang in there PM me anytime, I am also currently leaving the organization and have found the same fear, but I keep in mind that God wants me to know the truth about everything (this would include the organization), God is not about lies, trickery or deciet. Although this is a scary path, I firmly believe in the end it will be the one that will give you the greatest happiness.

since joining the board and doing research, i have found out so many things about the organization and feel no longer compelled to preach or go to meetings.

my friends are not taking me missing meetings well, things are not going to be fun.

but this is my decision and i plan to fade away, because of this decision it leaves me with so many unanswered questions...... which bible is viewed as the most accurate?.

Thank you all for your responses, I welcome various ideas, now that I am in the open looking for myself.

I think the suggestion from LyinEyes was a great one to take a year off, I think that is what I need, it's culture shock and not make any decisions. I suspect the mental manipulation and fending off friends and elders will be all I can handle. I wish that I could express my feelings to my friends and family I am fully aware this is not an option. I tried to express a doubt to my closest friend and it did not turn out well, so I backed off and said I am just having alot of problems. Anything to make this easier.

Do we all go to heaven, is there a hell?

What about the resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous?

1000 years?

These are just to name a few I would like to know, I think the hardest part is feeling lost after having such strong convictions.

i think they have recently, realizing that putting another timeline on there predictions was a no-no.

Nathan -

I would agree with you, if they are politically neutral, we go to prison for it, you would think they would try to distance themselves as much as possible not having any affliation with anything military. They new for years they were apart of an organization that knowingly made itself available to the Navy. I find this interesting because if Jehovah directs the organization then how could they let this go on, many contradiction, many false hoods, many lies.

Omission is still a lie, that is what the recent circuit overseer taught me.

Nathan you are great I have no doubts what-so-ever that they were gifted this and owned these shares for many years, when it came to light they decided to give up the shares rather than look bad.

So my question is why did they not turn this stock over sooner, they had nothing to gain?
