Nosferatu,
I am not sure regular bullets will do the trick. Unless they are silver bullets. A wooden stake to the heart would be equally effective.

When I was getting ready to bolt the organization, the Elton John song This Train Don't Stop There Anymore came to mind. I thought it would have been great to perform the song at our congregation talent show, get up, hand deliver my letter of DA to the PO, give a big bow, and walk off into the sunset.
you may not believe it
but i don't believe in miracles anymore
and when i think about it
i don't believe i ever did for sure
all the things i've said in songs
all the purple prose you bought from me
reality's just black and white
the sentimental things i'd write
never meant that much to mei used to be the main express
all steam and whistles heading west
picking up my pain from door to door
riding on the storyline
furnace burning overtime
but this train don't stop,
this train don't stop,
this train don't stop there anymoreyou don't need to hear it
but i'm dried up and sick to death of love
if you need to know it
i never really understood that stuff
all the stars and bleeding hearts
all the tears that welled up in my eyes
never meant a thing to me
read 'em as they say and weep
i've never felt enough to crywhen i said that i don't care
it really means my engine's breaking down
the chisel chips my heart again
the granite cracks beneath my skin
i crumble into pieces on the ground -

I had another thought about the www.brci.org website. After speaking with one of the counselors on the help line, they sent us a packet of some very useful info. One was a short article having the theme of "Does God work through an Organization?" Points raised in this article were VERY though provoking. SInce it is NOT written by an ex-JW, I don't think it can be considered "apostate" literature, in case your wife absolutely refuses to look at it.
call these people they can help!!!

Stop! Stop Or I Shall Shout "Stop" Again!
by Englishman injust a bit o' friday afternoon fluff.
a question for the 'mericans, of which we have one or two here.
you've probably communicated with more brits here than you had in all your life before joining this board.. leaving aside the stereo type brit of the movies, stiff upper-lip, unarmed policemen, morris minors and mini's, are we just as you expected us to be?.

OK, so Austin Powers does NOT exist. DAMN!!!
Actually, though, I enjoy your wit and levity. Not for taking oneself so DAMN SERIOUSLY, as us Amerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrricans. We need to frikkin lighten up sometimes, well actually, all of the time.

Almost forgot...
check out www.brci.org.
My wife found their info, in all places, in a used bookstore, in an old WT book, which was left there for those trying to make sense out of the lies and deception of the WTS. They have a telephone help-line with trained counselors (toll free) as well as their website. Check these people out.

A very good read is "Awakenings of A Jehovah's Witness" by Dianne Wilson.
Once I read it, and shared it with my wife, we both realized that that little voice in the back of both of our heads (that we had been trying to ignore for too long) was something we should at least listen to.
From that book, we went on to read: Crisis of Conscience, then Apocalypse Delayed, as well as others. Stick to the first two -- they should give you all the info you need.
A good web site to look at is www.towerwatch.com. A former elder and JW-lifer started the site and it is a wonderful resource.
If your wife is concerned about reading "APOSTATE" info, you should first read Steve Hassan's book -- Combatting Cult Mind Control. It will get YOU ready to help her.
