Yes, tailsin, I am a dues paying member of the American Civil Liberties Union. And I am sorry that because of persecution that you have to use "Theocratic War Stategy" to camouflage the country of your birth. But take courage, you are free of the Watch Tower.

Unfortunately I have never visited Mauritius, so I don't know what it is like to live in your country, tailsin. Do you have free elections with multiparty participation or is it a one party state? From what I gather from your posts your country lacks many of the freedoms that we Americans take for granted. Nevertheless, I hope that you have found a measure of freedom now that you are out of the Watch Tower. Best wishes.

Whether you agree or disagree with someone's opinions, once you begin suppressing freedom of speech, where does it stop? The laws that you use to suppress others can some day be used to suppress you.

I located a 1975 W.T. year book.....A question for you?

i found a 1975 yearbook at a used book store, but i didn't buy it, as it's kind of pricey.

however, if there is anything good in it that i can use for my research on the watchtower, i would buy it in a minute.

does anyone know if there is anything different or new that was said in it to make it worth my while to buy for my research?

I still have my personal copy from when I was active in the JWs. True it is very subjective as far as their history is concerned, however, it does have some interesting recollections from long time JWs which unwitingly reveals the dark side of the Watch Tower movement.
