I didn't see any JWs doing Door to Door work today, but I did see a couple of JW women standing by their cart. Both women wore masks even though they were outside in the fresh air.
However, nobody seemed to be interested in their literature. People seemed to just pass by and ignore them.
i thought the reasoning sound as to the wt explaination of babylon the great, ( world empire of false religion ) but have any of you knowledge of other plausible explainations?
or knowledge of other sources that are in agreement with wt?
The description of Babylon the Great in Revelation could also fit the conglomerate of international business corporations.
shouldn't gb tell members to abandon organisation?
surely things are pointing at watchtower being part of babylon the great.

If this was the end of the Watchtower, Lloyd Evans would be out of a job and his main source of of income would dry up.

I don't know what the laws are like in Croatia regarding solicitation for prostitution. However, here in the USA most communities have laws on the books where both prostitutes and their customers are prosecuted when arrests are made.
In most American cities had LE been arrested for soliciting, he would be fined or sentenced to time in jail or both. No doubt his patrons don't consider solicitation for sex to be criminal behavior.

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but in Lloyd Evans' live-stream he claimed that the Watchtower had tampered with his sexuality, or words to that effect.
Some have commented that LE said this to excuse his reprehensible behavior. But could his statement have a different meaning. Did LE mean that he was also a victim of CSA? And could this have been what he meant when before his Committee meeting he claimed to have something on the Watchtower?

I doubt that the JW translators were proficient in the original Biblical languages Hebrew and Greek. Which leads me to believe that they merely translated the American-English version of the NWT into these 13 languages.
So instead of a real Bible translation as they claim, the Watchtower is actually publishing a translation of their English version Bible into these languages.

I recently visited the Lloyd Evans Channel and it looks like he has
posted a couple of new videos. Though I didn't bother to watch any of
these videos, I did find it interesting that the video titles indicate that Evans is switching to an "advice to the lovelorn/talk show host" format. He has nothing new or interesting to offer.
Perhaps Evans will no longer produce his tedious rebuttals to the monthly JW Broadcasting episodes. After his recent confessions, it is difficult to take his critique of the Watchtower seriously.
well let me clarify the question.
i know you call yourselves apostates because the bible defines people who leave their previously held beliefs as apostates.
my question means, if the bible is not true (and i don't think it is) then there is no such thing as an apostate.i have never been a jw, only a bible student with them.
According to many theological dictionaries Apostasy is "the total repudiation of the Christian faith." While this term may fit a number of individuals who have left the JW religion, most notably Lloyd Evans, Apostasy should not be applied to all ex-JWs.
For example those ex-JWs who join another Christian Church have not repudiated the Christian faith. Instead they have merely rejected some of the Watchtower's questionable doctrines and beliefs. Thus they are not apostates. According to the dictionary they are "Heretics." Of course the JW GB refuses to use that term in describing ex-JWs for obvious reasons.
However, there is another group of ex-JWs, and this may also include some still associating. These are the schismatics. Schism in this case is the refusal of submission to the JW GB, while accepting most Watchtower beliefs. In fact there used to be a small group of schismatic JWs here in Northern California. They called themselves "Jehovah's Witnesses Independent of the Watchtower." These folks believed all the JW doctrines. However, they rejected the GB.
Since I joined the Anglican Church after leaving the JWs, I'm a Heretic, not an apostate.

I found Lloyd's videos entertaining and in some cases informative. Evans is a showman and his videos have provided comedy relief for some in the exJW community. But I think his Atheistic evangelism is counterproductive as far as causing JWs to question their religion.

In his pre-disfellowship video, LE claimed he had damaging evidence on the Watchtower that he would use during his hearing if the JC would make problems for him and his in-laws regarding shunning. While I doubt that LE has anything seriously damaging to the JWs in his files, I wonder what the Watchtower has on him which could be much more serious.
Apparently the JW leadership doesn't consider him much of a threat. Otherwise why would they let him traipse around Watchtower headquarters with a video camera while dressed like an unkempt street person? Some have even mentioned the possibility that LE is a Watchtower mole. While I doubt that the JW leadership is that sophisticated, keep in mind that GB member Splane declared war on "apostates" during his convention rant last summer. So expect them to play dirty.
