Is there really a Bible rule against sex without marriage?
by Halcon inregarding the poster from jw headquarters, who claimed that the gb would eventually loosen the rules regarding sex.
the question is, is there really a bible rule explicitly prohibiting sex without marriage?
because this would be the only possible reason why loosening those rules would even come up in a discussion.

George, I remember the case you are referring to. I think it was in a Watchtower Study article back in the 1960s.

The TWO new things to come this year for J.W Org !
by Phizzy inwhile having my first strong black coffee of the day, i was thinking about what may be to come next as the org.
rapidly goes mainstream, and this is what i came up with :.
1) they will introduce for sunday, the after meeting fellowship, a time for just chatting but with the added bonus of coffee and snacks.

I think that the GB initiating a “Coffee Hour” after the Sunday Meeting is a possibility. Most Churches already provide light beverages and snacks for their parishioners after Sunday services. However, such a change for JWs would be approved only after Watchtower Legal had considered the effect of local laws and liabilities on the Organization.
Regarding the Blood issue, isn't the Watchtower's present policy “Don't ask, don't tell?” So all the GB would have to do is tell the JWs that all medical treatments and procedures are now a conscience matter and is not the concern of JWs, including the elders, as to what medical course of action an individual chooses.

It's been a long 9 years Lloyd Evans / John Cedars (continued)

Looks like Lloyd's most recent video has 34k views and his patreon membership is up to 364.
While the recent doctrinal and rule changes in the JW religion may increase his income temporarily, I doubt that making anti-JW activism one's primary source of income is sustainable.
As the GB abolishes their cultic rules and doctrines and makes JWism mainline, the religion will no longer be an authoritarian threat. So why would anyone pay Lloyd money to rail against doctrines and rules the JWs no longer practice?
It looks like the GB may be the ones who will "bring down the Tower," leaving Lloyd out in the cold.

Lloyd claims that during February he was "battling a weirdly-lengthy cold-flu virus which has majorly impacted my productivity."
What he really meant was that he was on a strong regimen of antibiotics to treat the STDs he got from using cheap hookers. The side effects from those drugs made him lethargic, causing him lack the energy and motivation to churn out content.
Of course this wouldn't go down well with his patrons. Thus the "weirdly-lengthy cold-flu virus" excuse.

Apparently Lloyd doesn't know how to manage his finances. When he was raking in big bucks off the backs of his patrons, he should have invested some of that money so that he would have income for the future.
Instead he spent it on prostitutes and trips to Thailand.
However, I think Lloyd protests too much when he claims that the sex workers he employed were older than 20.

Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

Though the Watchtower may have Tony and his wife sequestered somewhere incommunicado, what about his sons and their wives? Has anybody heard what may have happened to them? Has there been any recent sightings of the Morris brothers?

Lloyd Evans Patreoff Pool March 2024
by DerekMoors infor those still interested in lloyd's fall from grace, i made up a chart of my own.
april 2023 is when he put out his "things are bad" tin cup begging video, and he got a small surge to 592 on the 13th of that month.
i'm also using his all-time peak of 897 from november 2022.. for march, we're gonna say a modest -15, putting him at 352. i'm also curious as to when he might hit 300 and then 200. if he keeps up with an average of -20 every month, he'll be at less than 190 before the end of this year.. happy guessing everyone..

To keep up with the latest in the JW World, one has to take time to study their publications and view their broadcasts. Lloyd is too lazy to do this. So he is dependent upon the "Old Light" that he learned when he was a JW decades ago.
The result is that Lloyd's videos are becoming less informative and more dis-informative for anyone seeking a critical analysis of current JWism.

Interesting JW attire
by Athanasius inyesterday while shopping i had an interesting experience.
there was an older woman ahead of me at the check out who was dressed in all black, including her stockings and shoes.
in fact i thought that she might be a sister, as i've seen nuns at my wife's church dressed in similar fashion.. as i waited my turn to pay for my purchases, she was engaged in conversation with the cashier and gave him a business card as she was leaving.

Yesterday while shopping I had an interesting experience. There was an older woman ahead of me at the check out who was dressed in all black, including her stockings and shoes. In fact I thought that she might be a Sister, as I've seen Nuns at my wife's Church dressed in similar fashion.
As I waited my turn to pay for my purchases, she was engaged in conversation with the cashier and gave him a business card as she was leaving. Moreover, when I left the store she was in the parking lot talking with a tradesman. They had just finished their conversation as I approached. So I addressed her as “Sister” and asked if she was a Nun.
To my surprise she replied: “No, I'm a Jehovah's Witness.”
So I explained that though I'm Anglican, my wife is Russian Orthodox and that when we've attended services at her Church, some of the Orthodox Nuns wear habits similar to what she is wearing. As we talked, she directed the conversation toward religion and the many divisions in the Churches. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of time, so I wasn't able to continue the discussion. However, as we parted she offered me one of those Jworg business cards and said: “Check out the website on the card. It will give you more information about our work.” I declined and told her I was satisfied with my Church and wasn't interested in changing religions.
I suspect she was a Pioneer and was getting in her time by discussing religious subjects with everyone she meets. But her attire made me wonder if that is a new trend among the devout JW women.
