i define a moderate as someone that occasionally disagrees with their party of affiliation and will (and have) crossed party lines to vote.

in short, someone that does not always vote for one party, will criticize their party for errors and occasionally agree with the other side.

St.Patricks Day

o.k who here is irish?

it's st.patricks weekend and time get that green beer, irish stew and corned beef and cabbage.

who is partaking this weekend?

Being part Irish I plan to observe St. Pat's day by taking my Russian girlfriend to a cornbeef and cabbage dinner at the local Anglican church. Then after that we plan to stop at Outback Steak House for a couple of pints of Fosters. You might say, only in America. Athanasius

How does it feel to be officially DF'd or DA'd?

how do you feel, now that you are out of the jw's?.

does the watchtower society want to make it feel worse than it actually is?

would you say that the scare of being df'd was worse than the real thing?.

Actually I wasn't DFed nor did I DA myself. Since I hadn't attended meetings for five years the elders lied to the congregation when they announced that I had dissasociated myself. They put me in limbo with some JWs talking to me when they see me while others will shun me. However, I view it as their problem not mine. I found a much better life beyond the Watch Tower.

Guys: What is your ideal girl like?

for me these things are most important:.

she is: intelligent, insightful, unpredictable, strongwilled, keen, interesting, nice looking, confident, a bit proud, equal, neither submissive nor dominant.

I think that the ideal lady is 5 foot 6 inches, tall, weighs 130 pounds, has blond hair, brown eyes, a beautiful smile, has lived in the US for six years, and speaks with a Russian accent. She has a keen desire to learn and to experience new things. She knows what it is like to live under an authoritarian government, and thus appreciates the freedom that America, her adopted country, offers. She is warm and affectionate. She is proud of her culture and likes to share it with others. She is a good cook, but always enjoys a dinner out. She is thrifty, but is generous with family members who were left behind in poverty. What more can I say?

Is it Possible to Love More than One Person?

i think that love takes on many facets.

i think that admiration is one of these facets.

sexual desire is another.

Yes it is possible to love more than one person. In fact that is the rule rather than the exception. However, when it come to sex, that is an entirely different matter. This is a very intimate expression which most would not generally share with everyone. If a person has pledged themselves to another in marriage or a committed relationship to limit sexual activity to that one person, breaking their vows will put a serious strain on the relationship. Therefore, if one doesn't want any sexual limitations he or she should avoid committments to just one person and stay single.

o' how precious the moment we shared not so long ago.. together we caught the rain, felt dawn, saw sunset glow.. it was so wonderful, so right, that you and i be together.. but duty called.

o' how i wanted to stay with you forever.. the wind tossed your golden tresses the day i left.. you were standing there so beautiful yet so bereft.. that was the saddest of days, the day i had to depart.. for that which is beyond control would keep us apart.. though i am home in that golden land in the west,.

i think of you always, my love, daughter of the east.. my love, a woman so beautiful, and the woman i most adore.. i will count the days till i return and hold you once more..
