my condolences on the loss of your son to leukemia, and on the loss of your stepson shunning you. i hope that changes as time goes by.
your wife and you have done a brave thing and i hope you both find peace in your new search for God. thanks for posting your story.
most witnesses are too occupied to have a hobby.
with all the meetings and field service and work, there isn't much time left for a hobby.
and if you did find time for hobby, i'm sure the elders would have pressured you to use your spare time for the kingdom, not hobbies.. did you have a hobby while you were in the org, or did you develop one after leaving?
the men in our cong always played basketball all winter..
me personally? my hobby was changing diapers and trying to feed a family on 40 bux a week for groceries.

it isnt introduced as policy.. its a news blurb about mexico...
is it supposed to be their attempt to reach out to abused ones? i dont think so.
is it printed PR to show in court that the wtbs wants to end sexual abuse among its members?
why? what good does it do? when someone researches the cd to see what to do if their child is abused will this come up next year? or are watching the world articles ever referenced? ya know i want them to do SOMETHING......this lil blurb seems like ....i dunno.. nothing?

"two long-awaited studies have found that the [u.s.] roman catholic church suffered an epidemic of child sexual abuse that involved at least 4 percent of priests over 52 years and peaked with the ordination class of 1970, in which one of every 10 priests was eventually accused of abuse," reports the new york times.

one of the last district conv. i went to the attendants did that. i was pissed off having to walk up a million stairs when there was easily accessible seating right there at the end of the ramp roped off. ( i have backbone now.i'd have moved the ropes myself now)
today i bought some cottonelle alow & e toilet paper.
