I was raised by a non-practicing witness father and a non-practicing Catholic mother. They allowed me to make my own my mind up about God and how I wanted to worship him. My mother's side of the family lived far away and were seen infrequently. On the other hand, I was in constant contact with my father's side of the family. I studied the "Truth" book with my Aunt. I believed what was being taught. I had no one telling me or showing me that it was wrong. So, I became a witness.
You need to tell your father NO. As has been said many times here already, it is your responsibility to teach your children and especially to protect them from this religion. You have to put your children's welfare above everything. Your father will always try to "inculcate" JW teachings into your children whenever and where ever he can. Because of that, you need to take proactive steps to show them that the teachings are wrong.Otherwise they may follow the same path I did.
You need to protect them no matter what cost to you.
i have almost quit caring about this stuff - but i saw a scan somewhere of a 'preface' or 'forward' to a new wts pub, that slammed da persons pretty hard.
i think that reading this infomation might be the reason that my cousin [also my absolute best friend for 35 years] has now elected to stop any contact with me.

do you notice at the nearby kh, that many of the residents near the hall display unusually large flags or crosses on the lawn or other such icons that appear to be directly and purposely to register disgust at having a kh in their neighborhood?.
what sort of deliberate decoration have you noticed?.
The Kingdom Halls in my area are all visible from the road. The Hall that I attended had a house directly across the street. This house always had the biggest Christmas display of the whole street. Perhaps it was done because of its location to the Hall. Perhaps not
Here is my two cents worth. Because your wish is to fade, I suggest you follow AllTimejJff's advice. It will take you off the apostate radar. They may keep visiting for awhile but eventually leave you alone. I would make no mention of the couple that came to your door. If their visit is ever brought up by someone, I would act shocked. " They were witnesses?" " I had no idea. They were banging on my door and yelling. I was scared. I almost called the police on them. Why would they act like that?" You put them on the defensive.
Showing outrage for their behavor won't help your fade.
they just now knocked on my door and i just stared at them through the peep hole.. it was kind of fun in a voyeuristic sort of way... just watching them stand there talking about, whatever.
