i have received correspondence from a jw in ontario canada.
the following is background information regarding the sinclair family and their adult children.
their son, scott left the cult and committed suicide.
I have. Jw cousin who got into drugs in his teens.
Congegation shunned him, and so did his father.
This cousins wife died of overdose, and he has barely felt life.
The point is...... When things are bad, they cut off all support systems and the supposed sinner gets worse instead of better

my wife and i are considering moving to gettysburg sometime in the next year to two years and would like some other perspectives on the area from people who have lived or are currently living in or around gettysburg.

The area was nice, and they said that unemployment was low

i live nowhere near the east coast, nor does my jw mother in law.
but according to my wife, mommy dearest thinks "sandy" is the latest sign that gawd almighty is about to bring about the end.. so i ask my lovely jw wife what she thinks, amazingly she says its probably just another storm, though it does look bad.
i tell her yes, i agree, and if there is anything we can do to help out, i am willing to help.
