No KHalls for Hurricane relief
by SadElder ineldubs in florida (maybe elsewhere too) have been told that the kingdom halls should not be used for relief efforts or for shelters.
liability and insurance issues were stated as the reason.. will try and get a copy of this letter.. of course the kingdom halls are supposed to be the center of true worship and a place of comfort but i guess only in fair weather.
what a crock.

What made you "see the light"?

's in this forum have either gotten out of the org., faded, or in some way have come to the conclusion that the watchtower is not the "faithful and discreet slave", and is not the "true" religion that they claim to be.
i am curious to know..... "what made you see the light"?.

I really wonder, though - how can people who are doctors and lawyers, etc., people who have a grounding in science and who are well-educated - how can they subscribe to the nonsense?
That is why the Kingdom Ministry emphasizes going back to people constantly..... Why? So, maybe the next time you
will find that their "situation has changed".
Well... the Society banks on that maybe a death in the family or sickness "will open their hearts".
You would be surprised on how much spirituality people seek when there are grave problems to deal with!

What scares me the most is not about Kobe.
But, someday my son will go out with somebody, and she just
got off a bad relationship, and decides to say she was raped!
Unfortunately there is no truth serum to say what really went on.
I do not advocate that a man has a right to sex when on a date.... But if

Star Trek Enterprise

I like the original and next generation
I've watched all the rest, but to the avail of enjoying about 30% of the episodes.
The season finale of enterprise was refreshing and interesting, so I can;t wait to see where they go from here.
Just a note: All the darkness and gloominess started ever since voyager has to go! All the episodes seem
unwatchable (aestetics) Some characters are awful in voyager and deep stace nine (ex. O'boring) but most
are OK on enterprise.... wish they were on better station, and more money was put in the budget!
