Dunno.... I've never had the privelege of visiting NYC yet, but hope to someday. If I do, I'll keep an eye out for the sidewalk vendors!! Sounds interesting!!

Kind of a mobile Garage sale - everyone brings their unwanted items to a specific location to sell them from their 'Car Boots'. It's a craze that's been sweeping the UK for the past few years.....

There'll always be a market for counterfeiters - there are people who want something for nothing, so will knowingly buy goods that 'look as good' as the originals, and some people who are naive / deceived / unfortunate enough to be suckered by the counterfeiters.

I said I know EXACTLY who to ask, but obviously won't tell her that the information comes from the scum of the earth, the damned, Lucifers spawn etc etc ad infinitum!

So I guess I'm after a bit of advice for her really... what precautions should she take, what necessities should she bring ?

She'll be coming in September for a fortnight (think it's the second week), what's the weather like / what clothing should she bring ??

Hi SS,

Hope you manage to get this sorted out - there's nothing worse than a spineless manager that sticks their head in the sand. Although he affirmed your good work and standing in the company, he 'undid' that by making an unprofessional remark regarding your 'attitude' when he said that you had 'earned the right to be snitty'! Are you completely happy with that 'support' ? Were you just being 'snitty', or were you expecting a level of professionalism from an employee that was consistently failing to meet expectations, so you felt the need to bring it to your superior's attention ?

In light of the worlds general unemployment crisis, I find it frustrating that such people manage to find a job, when there are others who desperately need one and would work much harder!!

well, this is my first post here, and i'm kind of doing it in secret, cause i know if my parents knew of my "poisoning myself with apostates" they would not be happy at all.

anyways, my story is; i'm 17, i've been brought up "in the truth" my whole life, and now i'm starting to question the wt and christianity in general, and i have nobody to talk to about it.

i feel awkward about talking to my witness friends about it, cause i worry that if i speak out against the organazition and the wrong people (i.e; young ones around here that would never think of questioning the society) hear about it, it might result in my punishment (reproof or dfing).

Request from All the UK Peeps

i am currently attempting to get my passport and am very eager to visit the uk.

i don't want to go there and get stuck at some cheap tourist trap, nor do i want to spend a crap load of money on hotel only.

the prices i look online, usually, as i always find them to be, are extremely over priced.

There are a few 'chains' of cheap rooms available - usually close to motorways or A-roads - Travelodges - usually clean and pleasant, and tend to cost in the region of £35ish per night.

If you want no frills accommodation - there are the Formule One hotels - £25 per night, usually clean, but not particularly pleasant!!

Hope you enjoy your time in the UK; If you're coming up to Robin Hood territory (East Midlands, Nottinghamshire) let me know and if possible, will meet up for a beer or three!!
