so, i had a witness patient this week at work and she had a new watchtower.

i didn't catch the date but i think it was called 'why do people do bad shit' or something similar.

i was kind of leafing through it in an attempt to make myself just as nauseous as my patient and they had an article on 'do real christians need to confess?

How old does a quote have to be before they can throw it out?

i was talking with a witness the other day (mistake number 1) and i brought up a quote from the 80's.

the friggin 1980's and he said "that was old light we don't believe that anymore...".

i mean at what point can they start throwing out these quotes?

but jewish law, just like secular legal theory, is filled with judicial loopholes.

a major one is that for the sake of saving a life, a jew is allowed to break just about any commandment.

for example, if a jew is injured on the sabbath, he is certainly allowed to go to the hospital even though he normally doesn't drive on saturday.

i mean seriously there are so many stupid crackbrained theories out there kennedy, 9/11, freemasons, contrails i mean all this crap and yet here we have this group of 7 million people who get together several times a week in buildings with no windows who sneak around with maps of everyone's address and write little notes and carry big briefcases.... i mean sure we know that they are just carrying a personal library of crap and writing '4453 whitehouse way... nh, 4454 whitehouse way... ni... etc...'.

but the householders don't know!

as far as joe the householder knows that guy is writing '4453 whitehouse way.... hot wife, nice tv, come back and kill them all tonight and steal the tv...' i mean really why no conspiracy theories about the witnesses?.

i'm a big fan of college.

however i just have to wonder if sometimes the society isn't right about it.

i mean are we devaluing the college education with this 'everyone should go' type mentality?

Would covering my roof with mirrors cut down on my utility bill?

ok my roof is already white (white/green architectural shingles) i wondered if i put mirrors on the roof to reflect the light if it would cut down my electrical bills?
