On me.
Andy
i am still a newbie compared to many here, and i don't even know who does what, nor have i ever read all those numbered rules and such that are below every post.
so thanks for not kicking me off.
simon, ladylee and jgnat as well as any other veterans on this site......i sincerely thank you for you efforts regarding jwd....(like elders...your pay is low i guess).
would someone seriously consider arranging for an apostafest up in scotland next year?
i know i'm asking this early but i feel it would be good to put the feelers out now.. obviously, it would have to be a location easy to get to - so that means stornoway is out!
sorry, ross & xena.
and the messiah testified that .
his god and father(creator) is the god and .
creation of god(he who is the only true god .
here is part of the posted watchtower on the wtbts .
secret groups in modern times have often been formed for quite honorable reasons, possibly for "social and benevolent purposes," according to the encyclopdia britannica, and "to carry out charitable and educational programs.
" some fraternal organizations, youth clubs, social clubs, and other groups are also secret, or at least semisecret.
Those in the lower echelons may be completely unaware of the real objectives of the organization
completely unaware
They got that right! The WT got this knowledge firsthandAsk any of the JWs about the time that the WT was affiliated with the "Beast".
All the ones I asked called me an apostate liar. They all said that the Org would never do that.
talk about completely unaware .
They come to my door and call me a liar.
They don't realize that they are the ones working for liars.
this advertisement looks interesting.
have any of you subscribed to this or a similar service?
some $29.95 for a year subscription, $39.95 for lifetime.
when i tell anyone i am considered an apostate, they usually think i'm joking and fall over laughing.
after thinking about it, i can understand why.
my lifestyle would prompt a farmyard chicken to take up another interest.
the dictionary says an apostate is a person who forsakes his religion
The WT considers me an apostate, but is it really me who's an apostate?
I'm not the one who forsaked my religion!
I dedicated my life to Jehovah, working together with the "slave" to help the rest of the world.
Then I found out the inner workings of the WT; their hypocrisy, lies, their deception.
It was the Watchtower who worked together with the "scarlet colored wild beast" which they call the UN. Not me.
They were the ones who had shares in the military, Not me.
The Watchtower with their "leaders" are the real apostate. But if they wanna call me an "apostate", then go right ahead.
They do this to get the attention off themselves and point the finger at us, while it's in fact themself.
Always pointing fingers.
got this for you WT: (__|__) is life after 75.
in another thread there was quotes from two articles:.
organized to accomplish our ministry (1983) p. 151, par.
1. concerning those who renounced their christian faith in his day, the apostle john wrote: they went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us.
Also, a person might renounce his place in the Christian congregation by his actions, such as by becoming part of a secular organization the objective of which is contrary to the Bible and, hence, is under judgment by Jehovah God. (Compare Revelation 19:17-21; Isaiah 2:4) So if a person who is a Christian chooses to join those who are disapproved by God, it would be fitting for the congregation to acknowledge by a brief announcement that he has disassociated himself and is no longer one of Jehovah’s Witnesses
Strange!
Didn't the WT become part of the UN by affiliating with her? Isn't the UN a secular org?
That would men that the WT org is no longer JW? Weird people.
It's this kind of reasoning that would want you to take meds. Meds are the only way to survive this kind of BS.
Nothing has changed.

........that everything that you have ever written and posted online is there for an eternity and will be accessible for your great grandchildren to read.
"hey mom, listen to what great-grandad said about our great forefather vishnu mohammed bush - he called him a colon hole".
be careful what you write.
i bought one of those new fangled devices, by cuisenart...pour the stuff into a prefrozen container and watch it turn into your dream homemade icecream....not!.
it comes out soft and soupy.
if you put it into the freezer it hardens into 1000 year old glacier like material.. it tastes good, but the texture is never where you want it.
surely these two events/situations/happenings mean little, nothing even, to those in the real world.. but since we're witnesses( some participatory) to them, they've affected us.. alot "went down" in a relatively short period of time.. do you feel the effects have been mostly positive, an opportunity to grow perhaps?.
or do you feel adversely affected?.
what about any lasting effects( positive or negative) you think they may have on the way ex-jws interact as a community?.
