  Don't underestimate the WT. These sleezeballs will go to any extent to prey on the gullible. Their indoctrination-machine is running full-strenghth. The brothers and sisters eat up everything the GB gives them. It's hard to pry in there and get a "foot in the door"
  I still have family in the "truth" and I'm experiencing first hand how strong their reign still is.
  But we shall continue relentlessly. And WE WILL WIN

  in 1972 the great irish balladeer don mcclean introduced the song "american pie.

  " it was and still is a classic.

  the song is full of symbolism and even to this day almost thirty years after the song was first introduced, mcclean will not reveal the real meanings behind much of that symbolism.. in that song, he sings about "the day the music died.

  The ideal is to have nothing at all to do with our disfellowshipped family members if possible. It may be hard to do but will please God

  Any Organization which worms their way into families is identified in 2 Timothy 3:6. I wish brothers and sisters would more read the bible instead of listening to the brabble of the WT.

  according to the wt, the un is the scarlet colored beast of revelation with 7 heads and 10 horns and religions that cooperate with the un are the harlot that rides the beast.

  now, despite this belief, the watchtower and bible and tract society decided to take a ride on the beast for ten years.

  It all fits.

  A place for the young to play sports. A place for young mothers to get help with problems from abusive husbands. They offer educational programs and many other social services.

  Same reason that you can't celebrate birthdays. Anything that would take the attention away from the WT is taboe. That little bit of attention one day a year is against their strict laws. Same with the Y. You have to serve the WT 366 days a year. If you don't, then boom! These are the most selfish bastards to walk the face of the earth.

  anyone remmeber the siamese twin and other dubious stories given in talks or from bethal boys on leave?.

  the story of the siamese twins coming into the truth was well known to be fraudulent in or area.the tale is basiclly (with lots of other details that i cant remmeber but which make it really silly) that there was in some land a pair of siamese twins one comes into the truth and the other opposes her with the resulting difficulties of being joined to your persecuter.. but on a sunday a brother came from another hall to give the public talk and told this story in all seriousness to the entire congregation, this story took a good five to ten minutes to tell and we all had to sit through with a straight face.. i wonder how many experiences on the assemblies and in the mags are similar in truthfulness?
