I have heard a ton of people are getting screwed on variable rate mortgages. After September 11th when all the interest rates dropped to nothing people where lent a ton more money than they would normally have been since the interest rates where so low. Now that they are going back up again I know some people whos payments increased more than 400 a month. That is a tough increase for people to deal with when most people live paycheck to paycheck anyway.

not that we are close friends now, but when we were witnesses in the 1990's, we were friends with him and his wife.
they had three children, all fully grown now, and had been married about thirty years.

I had an Aunt die very unexpectantly when I was about 15. My Uncle was on the prowl in less then three months. He got married about a year after his wife died and I remember having the conversation with my mom about the "new order". I told her I wanted to be there when he had to explain to his dead wife how he didnt feel like waiting for her so he just found a replacement. That always baffled me about people who got remarried like that. My next door n eighbor and her husband where old school witnesses. He lived to be about 72 she, about the same age, is still going. She remarried about 4 months after he died. I could never have the faith they do, that they will see them again, and not wait to be with them again. You want to talk about an awkward moment.

I dont think a country would go to war over a religious figure. It is different that shooting a president and plus a nation didn't do it,its people did. You cant really declare war on muslims in general. I am sure it would generate racism but no wars. Most of the Hijackers from 9/11 where from Saudi Abrabia but they are still our friends.

Want to know how life really isnt fair....I was reading some stuff on her web page, she just gave birth to her second child on July 31st which is a month after her husband died in a roll over accident in Las Vegas. I dont know why but for some reason I am super bummed out for her. I dont normally get like that but reading the stuff she put on her web site about her husband broke my heart. (Just a Little) It seems her world is falling apart and just two months ago she was completely happy.
Life may be fair or unfair depending on how you look at it but one thing is for sure, it really does suck sometimes.

I assume you have never know anyone who has gone through a divorce. Everything you said to do slants the proceeding to her favor. Although I agree with your thinking it is the wrong thing to do. I have heard on more than one occation that cheating itself is not grounds for divorce anymore because so many people do it. Unfortunately no matter what he does if it comes to divorce he is going to pay the samething everyone else does according to his or her income. He can walk in with the judge and find her in bed with another guy and it really doesnt matter.

JW sighting at the supermarket
by Scully inlast weekend i was picking up a few things for dinner and was just ringing through the order when i noticed the person behind me examining the cake i was buying a little too closely.
it was a jw woman we used to know.
apparently she was hell bent on figuring out whether this cake was for some kind of celebration (it wasn't) so she could run back to her husband the elder and try to cause trouble for me.

I remember the article in the watchtower about the guy who became a witness after the people going door to door preached to his mean dog. It was such B.S. I think the artice said that he was so impressed with the way they spoke to the dog he figured they must have the truth. Of course he was baptized later that afternoon because he made such rapid progress and was an elder later that week like all the other crap stories.

Experiences the WTS does not want you to hear at the Assembly!!!
by thepackage inyou know how on the last day of a district assembly the chairman always give these great experiences about how the dubs that attended the assembly had great spiritual experiences while at dinner or at the hotel.
well, hears one you will not hear.
for about five straight years, a friend of mine (whose father was a jerk elder who thought anybody who drank should be df) would leave the assembly at lunchtime each day, go to a bar near the convention, and get drunk out of his mind!!!
