  i need to vent i guess.

  it's been a little while since i've even looked at the board.

  i've tried to make a break to somehow get my life moving again, and i never wanted to be one to write a good bye post.

  Gilead a University?...

  in another post it was mentioned how the wt has no infrastructure (ie universities, hospitals, etc.

  ) they will be forced into some sort of mainstreaming or continue to be a revolving door of shrinking numbers, especially with the net.

  true they are expanding the brick and morter realestate empire, but at some point you have to invest in the human capital and give people a reason to stay, especially kids.. do you think that it would be in their long term interest to consider transforming gilead/ patterson into a full fleged university at some point, open to all jws?

  divorce, stress and the unknowns?...

  for those who have been thru it (i hate the sound of the word), what is the most stressful aspect and what would you do differently?

  and what did you not expect?

  i would like to know as right now it has become a real possibility for me.

  found this article on how many see iraq's place in prophecy interesting.

  it just goes to show how many groups there are who are willing to see something to fit a preconceived view, and provide what seems like such a rational argument.

  when you see things outside the fishbowl, you realize that jws are just one of the many.

  i initially had reservations about how this would impact the r&f, thinking that most of the effects would be felt at the door.

  the morning after i have a little different perspective.

  based on my observations from last night's meeting, this may be only the tip of the iceberg.

  just wanted to say this since i have no where else at the moment to vent at the moment and for lurkers...also, it might be timely since coc has been under discussion in a few threads lately.

  i am doing research and taking it slowly right now.

  i know lot's have been helped by coc, even me, as it put a lot of things into perspective.
