Nothing would make me do what theve done, im scared of flying. You have to admire their bravery, espacially when things have gone wrong !!!!!!!!!

JW baptism ............is it valid
by vitty inif you still believe in god or go to church.
do you feel your baptisim as a jw is still valid or have you been baptized again.
i stopped going to meetings over a year ago and am working stuff out in my mind.

When I was baptized in 87, I didnt even think about the wording. I was pushed into it by my bible study "partner". I had a study for 2 years and thought if I got baptized I could get this woman off my back, wrong, she still wanted to study with me. I found my "united in worship " book and where I had it all underlined then , nothing, thats when i stopped my study.
I got baptized for all the wrong reasons, self preservation for me and my children was uppermost, I never thought about the ransom and what it meant. Like most witnesses I surpose!!!!

Somethings just not true!

long enough to know that some peoples hatred toward th wtbts and some of its members are based on wrong information.
for instance: ive read on hear many times that the wt promotes the idea that everyone whos not a witness are not friend material or will be destroyed at armageddon.

I always thought that field sevice was very ineffective, I mean armageddon could come tommorrow and we were just limping around the territory, waiting for the hand on the watch to move, damm it LOL
Even pionners wasted loads of time. I remember talking to my ´sister who is still in and saying the WT should have a big campaign on the net, she said even a TV or radio campaign would have more effect that what we where doing.
What do you think
As for having a game of tennis thats ok as long as its not a regular thing and heaven forbid esculates into going out for the odd pint

I stopped going to meetings over a year ago and am working stuff out in my mind. I think I still believe in God and call him Jehovah when I pray, but i dont think ill ever go to church. I just wonder if it matters to you whether you are baptized in a cult or not or is it the thought that counts LOL

The WT talks out of both side of its mouth. It says in study articles not to judge our brothers, but the set up is that you do. All the crap about public reprof, marking ppl, bad association within the KH, taking away privilges for stupid reasons. With that of course everyone judges everyone else !
And no child is incouraged to have school friends outside school, with the reason that they dont love Jehovah =what a bloody cheek) and that they are going to die at armageddon.
I dont know how long youve been a witness, I suppose it doesnt really matter, my mothers been in for over 40 years and equates the WT as equal to the bible, as do most JWs

Running??????

im really interested in starting to jog or run.. what would be a good speed to start and how far would be a good goal?.
i know power walking is about 6k an hour, for 30 to 40 minutes but what about running??
