The Daniel and Isajah book are the worsed! Example: the wooden table at the UN offices in The Hague were mentioned and explained in some bible text.
The Best: the book with the gold cover, happyness book.

it asks many drone-like thought-provoking questions as i've listed below.
incredible that these guys claim to be the sole ownership of what is absolute "truth", yet change doctrines like i change lipsticks.

If this is the way to inform us about "new light is coming soon", they made the new light in a very early stage.
This article was a part of the assembley in 2005. If this is the way of introducing new light, then the new light is not very fast!
At the assembley the speaker listed and presented all the new light in the history of the WTS. He presented many new light items in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002. Very strange, because many of the new light was "between the lines" of the watchtower articles.
I wait and wonder.

Circuit Overseer Celebrities?
by Delboy222 ini am a active jw, but one question i would like to know is why do these 'men' get treated as superstar celebrities when they attend the congregation?.
for as long as i can remember, there seems to be a 'buzz of excitement' when it is announced that he and his wife are due to visit.
what is so special about them?.

It's in Europe the same! When the CO is in town, the atmosphere in the congregation is totaly different! The wive of the congregation overseer (who is not talking to me the whole year) greets me in front of the CO if I was her greatest friend. O what a great congregation, what a great elders and what a great wife of elders, do you see it dear CO?, that's what it is. And then the CO goes on stage and makes some stupid remarks about "when you do'nt preach, you make it difictult for the whole congretation, one for all, all for one... bluh....

i have some new info and am putting it under scandals because it doesn't move so fast.. i have family members that just returned from a trip to nyc.
they did the tours in brooklyn, walkill and patterson.

About my statements: I am very good informed about the WTS policy's and what they are doing arround the globe. But you gave yourself an answer in your first posting, when it becomes playing with words by WTS. They where represented by other associations. When the WTS says that they are not involved with the UN, they are right. The Watch Tower, Bible and Tract Society is not involved. The association of European Jehovah's Witnesses is involved, as you read in the UN document. That's the way it works at the moment in Adamsstreet.
I now much more about JW officials. But at this moment I will bring these facts not on the net.
What I do know is:
- the WTS is run by the legal office (patterson), and the profit is made by the treasury office (brooklyn).
The Dutch branche has a very low status in WTS world.
