hello,im 14 years old and i am a jehovahs witness.i have done research after things happened that didnt make sense to me.my sister has been disfellowshiped and is now out of the organization married wth 2 sons.my brother stopped going to the meetings and is engaged to be married to a non wittness in march of 05.my other brother has been reading apostate material and now doesnt believe this is the right religion and is very confused as am i.my mother is a avid witness was baptized in 1975 and pioneered for a while in the 80's.i love my mom very much,but i know this isnt the right religion and i want out.im not baptized but i was born in the truth so im on the ministry school and everything and im an unbaptized publisher.when my mom finnally finds out im leaving the truth it will break her heart as she really believes this is the right religion,and shes already had 3 kids do so.how can i leave without breaking her heart?i would stick it out for the next 3or4 years,just for her,but i really dont want to.plz help me figure things out.

i'd say for now just hang in there but DON'T GET BAPTISED. don't focus on the religion thing...go to school, make good grades, go to college and once you are out of the house do what you want. as long as you don't get baptised you can't get df'd.

it's interesting to me that the old testament actually forbids a man to shave his beard. at the time shaving of the beard was done by homosexuals so they could look more femine and it was an outward expression of their homosexuality. so in reality shaving your beard has pagan roots just like chistmas or the wedding ring. the WTS c onveniently keeps this point undercover though.

i belive that the wbts is not the faithful and discrete slave and i don't agree with many of the wbts techings.

the easiest way for me to do this is to discredit the bible but this isn't working with my father.

Thanks for the tips guys....I want to express to my father that I'm not turning my back on God, Jesus, him or the rest of my family but I am turning my back to the WBTS. He tends to block all four together (Jehovah, Jesus, WBTS and my family) into one being so it's hard for him to distiguish who my distrust is aimed towards. He takes it personally. I want to show my father that I don't have to abide by the laws of the WBTS concerning reinstatement in order to be in God's favor.

Lately I have been arguing with my father about my beliefs and such. I belive that the WBTS is not the faithful and discrete slave and I don't agree with many of the WBTS techings. The easiest way for me to do this is to discredit the Bible but this isn't working with my father. He has challenged me to use the Bible, any Bible, to support my way of life. I have a girlfriend but we aren't involved sexually and I don't do any drugs and don't get drunk and stuff like that. In fact I could be a JW, moraly speaking, again except that I don't believe that the WTBS is the only way to God. Is there any place in the Bible that supports my theory that we should love, support and associate with kind hearted people even if that person, me, has been disfellowshipped. I'd really like to disprove this whole shunning thing first of all but I don't know where to start. I find it hard to think outside of the box from what I've been taught from childhood being raised as a JW. I'd like to study the Bible on my own but have yet to make the time for it.

i think they have been together only a couple weeks.

hey at least you don't have to worry about attending those pesky meeting or field service

but if i were in your situation i'd find out why she is getting kicked out of the dorms. i don't think it is a good idea that your bro. and his girl shack up right yet. they both need to grow a bit first. i'm sure something could be done to find her another dorm room and if your bro is in college maybe he'll wanna think about living on campus too.

it's interesting that they equate accepting and grasping difficult dogman published by the WTBTS as having a close relationship with Jehovah. so basically if you don't agree with the WTBTS then you can't be close to God. WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!!!
