Is the goatee the new mullet?
by daystar inwhen i had very long hair and was debating cutting it all off for the final time, one thing (among others) contributed to my decision to go for it.
now, i don't think i had a mullet.

What is now the most accurate Bible to buy??
by WingCommander innow that i've read ray franz's part about how his uncle and others with little actual greek or hebrew training translated the bible into the nwt, i've been interested in finding the best bible out there is correctly translated by people who know what the hell they are talking about.

i've also been looking at other religions lately, ones that are "somewhat" close to the jw's teachings to an extent, and have been interested in seventh day adventists.

Jaredg, not sure if you were just kidding or not, but there are NO original scrolls extant. There is not a single original manuscript or even 1st generation copy of any of the Hebrew or Christian Greek scriptures available to us that were written by the original authors/writers/redactors.

there is no 100% accurate English translation. you'll need to learn Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew and then get your hands on the original scrolls to be 100% sure.

our state lotto started today, and i won 15 dollars, and only bought 1 $1 card.
so whoop whoop for gambling.. i was in miami florida last week for the photoshop world conference, but i also got to tour the everglades, where i took some beautiful pictures.

i'm thinking about going to the memorial and when the wine gets to me say out loud "One, Two Three and then chug it bottoms up". then when the cracker gets to me i'll yell out loud "COOOOOOKIE" like cookie monster and then gooble it up spitting crums everywhere. man i just gotta figure out some way to get it on video.

ok time for a funny story...
I went to Target to buy Crash with out knowing who was in it or what it was about. I see this movie entitled "Crash" on the shelf with a bunch of other good movies. So I grab it along w/ some condoms and go...I was in a bit of a rush. I get home and throw it into the DVD player and about 10 mins into the movie my date for the night goes "This isn't Crash!" I show her the DVD box and sure enough it says "Crash" but evidently it is a soft core porn by the same name as the award winning movie. I was a bit pissed, since it wasn't even a good porn, and I couldn't take it back b/c I had already viewed the DVD. Anyway I thought you all might get a laugh out of that.
