  hello all; my jaw dropped monday at the bookstudy.at the book study on monday, the only meeting i can stomach anymore, a statement was made that made my blood boil.

  in asking the question "how does god protect us?

  " sister elder answered this way: "well, one of the ways is like that abuse case that was filed in the (twin) cities, or wherever, (sic) it turns out it was thrown out because all the charges were false, or whatever.

  My sad start to the day.

  to all you animal lovers out there.. i awoke this morning to find that my dog had passed away during the night.. he was a golden retriever cross and the baby of the family.

  he loved the kids and would lie down so my 2 year old could sit and lie on him.. he dug out of the back yard and got into my gardening stuff.

  he ate half a box of snail bait.. i'm feeling really guilty, sould not have left it out.

  it's interesting how your memory gets jogged by little things.

  i was washing my hands at work when i noticed that someone had watered down the liquid soap.

  i was instantly taken back several years ago when i was an ms given a cleaning assignment at an assembly taking place in the assembly hall.

  yep bonzz GRRRR to that one. My family did that. Moved where the need was great. Good for the cong mabye but sucked for the family.

  Why is family never number one its always the "brothers and sisters" that count.

  its kind of a hard decision for me to drop out right now because i was raised in it.

  plus i have some friends at my congregation that i grew up with.

  At 14 I started dating a 34 yera old paedophile. The elders never told me he was or had done it before. We both got introuble for improper conduct. They had files on him from his previous congregation. They put me on there little TRIAL and asked perverted questions off me. Just me and my dad (elder btw) and 3 perverted old men.

  I married that paedophie and he abused me they never said a word. So much for looking after the young ones.

  I wondered why I was not at ease being a Witness.

  i wondered why i was not at ease being a witness till i learned what a cult is from many sorces, and stopped being so scared from day to day what god will do to me.

  i am still scared of what he will do to me from being raised a witness, its weird they did not teach a firey hell, but they put the same kind of fear in me.

  everytime some national problem comes along i freek, even when i no longer go to them meetings or read the tower.

  Its hard to get the years of being told one thing out of your brain. Im still trying to get over the "satan" thing as ive posted elsewhere. All i can say is research the GOOD about god. For many years i was against god in general. But it wasnt that it was the JW god. Find some real christians and they will share the love with you not the fear and the doom of armageddon should fade. I am not worried about armageddon at all cos i see no basis for it in the bible. Research is seeming to be the key.
