Your chat with you mom sounds exactly like the one I had with my mom.
Based on what she said in response to your concerns, at this stage in her thinking I can't detect any instability at all in her loyalty/trust in the Org or GB. But you never know down the road if she personally experiences some hypocrisy/mistreatment somethings you said may resurface in her mind. I know you probably feel a little better since you've been upfront with her.

Breakfast

i just want to know: what did everyone have for breakfast this morning?

i had some oatmeal, two slices of toast with butter, and some orange juice.

Quaker Instant Oats (in the litle packet), blueberries and cream flavor.
2 slices of Jamaican Bun toasted with butter.
all washed down with a cuppa freshly brewed Folgers (ummmm...good to the last drop...oops that was Maxwell House wasn't it?)

i know that people have been in the same boat as i am and have felt the same but i still feel very alone tonight.

and very depressed.

i dont think some people understand even here.

Recording and Submitting Time Slips

submitting monthly time records is one of those requirements that i had always wondered about.

i mean how much hours and rvs did paul submit and how many magazines and subscriptions did peter record.. i always had difficulty achieving the national average, although i used to go frequently out in service.

i just could not bring myself to count the time driving to the service arrangements, driving around looking for houses, and driving off publishers afterwards.. this kept me from being appointed an ms from some time.

When my sister was on her way out of the org, the last 2 months that she actually reported time she wrote ridiculous numbers like 170 hours. The service overseer stopped by her house to tell her she made a mistake in filling out the slip, and she said "no, it's no mistake that's how many hours I did". He ended up having to take her at her word and that's the number of hours he submitted. I bet he felt stupid when the following month and every month after that she was "inactive"...I wonder how he explained that to the Regional Sales Manager (oops..I mean Circuit Overseer)!

after last week's post regarding how many people you helped become a jw, i thought it would be fun to see how many people you've helped become apostate.. i received a phone call from norway about an hour ago, ( a poster on this board) who tells me that i influenced his decision to leave the jws.

(thanks, i)we've never met, only been email buddies.

the written word is powerful, and many do read these forums.. hopefully, i'll be able to speak to his dyed in the wool jdub girlfriend, but for now i'm satan incarnate as far as she's concerned.[8>].

you also mentioned a family in the cong being affected by a flood in your area, this too happened in my cong. so I thought I'd see if this was more than a coincidence. by the way, I live in PA.
