  Questions From Readers-Complete Immersion?

  must one get baptized (complete immersion) no matter how severe their handicap?.

  (paragraph 2, sentence 3..."since baptism by complete immersion is a scriptural requirement, humans have no authority to exempt someone from baptism.".

  my thoughts: what elder/co/do will dare take a risk in exempting one from baptism if they have been told by the society that no human has the authority to do this?

  this was just forwarded to me.. (we need more comets to help take all of the stupid people away from among us!).

  this comes from the branch in canada....... in england one of our blind brothers had a seeing-eye dog that would.

  faithfully guide and take him to the meetings each week.

  Here's a classic for ya, this story was popular in London in the Early/Mid 90's:

  A woman who is a clairvoyant lived in the Twickenham area (this is where the district conventions are held in London). Anyway, the story goes, that some JW's knocked on her door - and this is what she told them: that every year during convention time she looks out her window towards the Twickenham Rugby Ground and she can see multi colored spirit creatures that come down from the sky like flashes of lightning, and that they then bounce off of what appears to be a green glowing protective dome over the stadium.

  Whenever this story was repeated most JW's were like "wow, holy spirit and the angels are busy fighting off those demons" - we just completely believed these stories. It's embarassing!!!

  february 1, 2002 i was layed off from my job at raytheon aircraft.

  i was a machinist there for 6 years.

  they layed off in my department up to and including 12 years of employment.

  at least my son and i did, i'm assuming the rest of ya'll did too .

  for those of you who weren't there you'll never guess what happened at the restaurant.

  were there talking about various things mostly related to our shared watchtower experiences and our waitress walks up behind me and taps me on my shoulder and asks if i'm a witness.
