  after you decided that the wbts, and thus jw's were not god's chosen earthly organization did you feel like you wanted to leave and forget god altogether?.

  Flawed Design

  i have a question to all those who believe in a christian god, or any others who would like to comment on the subject.

  if god is perfect, and can not make a error, why are there comets, asteroids and meteors flying about the solar system impacting both the earth and other planets?

  it doesn't make sense to me how a perfect creator could allow this chaos to exist.

  I have a question to all those who believe in a christian God, or any others who would like to comment on the subject.

  If God is perfect, and can not make a error, why are there comets, asteroids and meteors flying about the solar system impacting both the earth and other planets? It doesn't make sense to me how a perfect creator could allow this chaos to exist. I don't see how man's so called "sin" could be to blame for this since it only affected the earth, not the universe.

  Maybe he, who made us in his "image", is just as flawed as any human?

  I believe Fred Hall, You Know and Apostle AK are all in a df'd state with their local congs. They are shamed by this fact, and proceed to come off as spiritual gaints, fighting apostates to gain favor with their imaginary deity. They're still imprisoned by the borg in chains of guilt and fear.

  Having been left for dead by their fellow dubs, they've been searching for some form of human contact and attention. During that search they found this and other db boards. Since they are still in a df'd state they justify their association with other df'd individuals.

  I think the whole generation issue has turned into a fiasco for them. It hasn't been good for their numbers them at all. It's one more brick in the wall. I do think they'll be able to milk another thousand years out of it though. Look how long the catholic religion and christianity in general has been around. The bible writters also said that the end was coming soon. Here we are two thousand years later and people are still waiting. I think the whole christian movement is a cult. Imo.

  i have been lurking around here for quite some time now, posted a few short replies, and engaged in a little chat from time to time.

  its almost hard to remember, just a few months back, feeling like i was the only one to live through a jw experience and not be sorry that i am no longer a part of it.

  i am very happy to have found this site.. i would like to better introduce myself as i have seen several others do.. i was born in '78 to a fanatical jw mother and an unbelieving alcholic father.

  Why did you name this thread, "Keep on 'jerking off'", after your blasted others for using offensive language in your last post? I might have missed your point but on the surface it seems like a double standerd.
  I find it interesting that, these same people who are easily offend, will go to movies and listen to the actors swear up and down, and will laugh at their off color jokes. Beware to anyone who says anything offensive when the lights come on after the movie over.

  Truth comes in many shapes and sizes, learn to accept as many as possible. And to those who are still offended, I'd better not find you watching anything but G rated movies.
