  I'm an American citizen who is proud of his country and appreciates my freedoms. One of my freedoms is freedom of speech, and I use it. Sometimes I use it to praise America, and sometimes I use it to bash America. When it deserves it, I bash America. I have the freedom to do it, I have the right to do it, and I have the obligation to do it as a citizen. Or should I just sit back and let this country go to hell?

  As for the Kyoto treaty, of course I have studied it and I know that it is more complex an issue than you hear on the mainstream news. Give me more credit than that. What you don't know is where I stand on the treaty, or global warming, or any of these issues. It isn't what you'd guess. I only jumped in when I saw someone make a statement that was totally irrelevant and stupid to make in this discussion.

  Seeker, you must have a selective memory. I then asked you,

  I asked who has actually read the treaty and understands it and it's impact, not just the spin they see from the socialist media?

  I also believe America has jumped the track and is on a downhill course to doom. I believe the nation our childern's childern will inhabit could be a far cry from what the founders of this nation intended. The dream called America has been poisoned and like Churchill I blame the socialist.

  Think about it, people who lived in the U.S.S.R worked 12 months out of 12 months for the goverment. In the U.S. the average person works only 4 to 6 month out of the year for the goverment. What will we do when it's 8 to 9 months.

  it seems like to me the majority of people who are in the truth, are were in the truth was a result of either a family member are a friend witnessing to them and not many seem to have been found in the door to door work.. from my years of associating with the borg i cannot recall many coming in the truth from the door to door work.. how were you sucked in?

  for me it was my aunt who has now even though i am not disfellowshipped decided to write me out of her will to the tune of about $150,000.00 (maybe i should hang around a couple more years)dont think i will.. please respond .

  My dad had a drinking buddie in the fifties who was a very weak witness, that dumb dub bastard would preach to my father when they would drink. My parents had six kids, I'm the youngest and the first to have left and never looked back. The cult like a terrible VD has spread it's dark shadow accross three generations of our family.

  I've been working with my one of my sisters, she finally stood up to my mother and stayed home with her four kids, instead of going to the DC this year.

  The rest of the family lives out of state and treat me like the Devil. I believe they're stuck in their dumb dubdom.

  i have only recently been df'd, so i struggle with what i believe regarding god and the bible.

  as you all would know, its a long process reprogramming our minds from all the lies and shit we were taught by the organisation.

  I believe armageddon is a threat used to envoke your deepest fears. It is used with the same froce as hellfire by other churches. Why would God have to threaten you in such a way. I believe most religions use these threats like a hook in a closing sales pitch.

  As you know during the cold war they split Germany. East Germany was part of the Eastern block. So I thought you might be able to say part of Germany was part of Eastern Europe. I will have to look at a world map.

  I don't know unclebruce what you mean by Eastern European. Would Germans count? I know a few German woman who have imigrated here to the U.S. what a bunch of crows. I've never met such hardhead hardass people in my life. I think most German including my wife of German descent are born with the proverbial stick up the butt. Now being the sweet Swede that I am, let me say that people Scandinavia are great.
