He will get thrown out of the org, but that that's his problem and he'll have to deal with it. Although I was married while a JW, I did not "mature" sexually or understand the opposite sex until after I was disfellowshipped and got around a bit.
Why should you do this guy the service while he's still in, especially as you take him so seriously. I mean, it would be different if all you wanted was casual sex and your cake as he does.
I also agree with Neab about the org leaving people a bit screwed up, but again, you really can't say that is in his favour as he will still have to dump you eventually.

I must say, it really is an incredibly intelligent move on the part of the organisation to include 15 minutes of witnessing as a "publisher".
I think it is grossly under-estimated here by us, the damage it will do to the society when the downward TREND we see at the moment becomes a downward TURN.
Saturation point has been reached in many countries and as we have just seen from the recent report, a decrease in many countries.
There will come a point where the R&F will ask themselves why God is waiting for judgement day and they are still putting in millions of hours for no net gain.
On the subject of the number of hours which is extremely high with little profit, my head just sunk into my hands and I though too, of all those pioneering hours I myself put in while being told there was no point pursuing a career. There's a very fine line to what saddens me and sickens me with regard to the "truth". -

by Mulan ini haven't told this to very many people, so here goes.. when i was a child, my parents became jw's (i was almost 5), so i had celebrated christmas a few times, but have few memories of it, other than the bubble lights, and a huge tree and my grandparent's house.
when we stopped celebrating it, i didn't really "get it", and i still believed in santa claus.
i just thought he didn't come to our house anymore.

I used to know a compulsive liar and I often wondered whether this kind of thing is caused by up-bringing. (this guy was pathological and couldn't give a straight answer to whether he had just turned left or right.)
Has anyone seen any studies on it? I suppose it comes down to balance like many things. I don't have kids, but if I did, I think I would like them to have the Santa I didn't. There are those parents, however, who seem to have a lie stashed away for everything from how they were born to where we go when we die.
Must be bloody confusing to be a kid! -
