  Just wondering... If Jehovah TELLS the Wicked man he is gonna die. Why would I need to say it as well??? Can't Jehovah make it clear himself?

  my (non-jw) grandmother is visiting from the southwest this week.

  the usual family get-togethers are planned.

  my ms younger brother was complaining to me about how unreasonable our (jw) mother is being.

  I guess it is the guild thing, again. I once had an outing planned with a few sisters, and my best friend would come as well. That morning she called me, in shock explaining to me she could not come because she had mixed up the dates and would otherwise miss a meeting. I pushed her and said that missing one meeting wasn't such a big of a deal. She agreed to come, only to call me back an hour later, crying and explaining that she really couldn't miss the meeting. And you know that scripture in were it states that seduction to evil comes from the place were you expect it the least? Cant remember which one it was, but it was thrown at my feet by her.

  Still saddens me to think of it.

  Mmmm, do enjoy the visit and family gatherings, sorry your brother wont make it, but maybe hell change his mind.

  early this morning i noticed a couple of racoons in my back yard searching for food.

  there's a huge park/forest in my back yard.

  i quietly opened the door and left some treats for them.

  Sitting quietly thinking on the amazement of being able to think.

  My friends, my family, my garden, going to the beach, going for a drive in a beautiful car (no, mine ain't beautiful), getting out of bed every morning, turning into bed every night. Realising I am free, and realising that life is just F****** GREAT.

  i would like to share with the board an example of a way dubs are brainwashed into equating the internet with satan.

  i heard this with my own ears!

  in fact i have it on tape.

  Ahh, but Ozzie, you forget, reading books wasn't something to were too fond of as well. I have been rebuked many times for being in college, studying history. Many an elder told me that universities held bad association and worldly teachings that would destroy my faith. Hehe, and guess what? They were right, hehe.

  Guilt is indeed their major control mechanism.

  After a lengthy discussion about some major doctrine I was put aside, and all my arguments with me, with the statement "Well, pray, cause you have not seen the light yet" YUK!

  And another one would be "Sister, yo are too proud, you need to learn to be humble and obedient" Double YUK!

  Does God love JOB?

  i have a sort of question.

  i have never been able to put together the saying god is love, and the story of job.

  i mean, here is a guy, who has spent his entire life in service of his god, no man on earth loves god as much as job.

  You know, thanks for your reply, but NO that does not make sense to me at all. God is supposed to be Almighty here, and yet he ALLOWS all that misery happening to Job. That is malevolency. Think on this, If God is supposed to be my Father the insecurity I would live in. To my heavenly father, the angels and the demons, I would be no more than a laboratory rat with them placing bets on my performance.

  And it would have been in favour of Gods character is he would have just put his fist down and said shut up Satan and keep your hands of My Servant That would have shown character.

  (Note the if, for I do no longer belief in God.)

  The sound of one Dub clapping

  as i was growing up,i noticed the dubs at assemblys would clap at the slightest provocation.it looked like a beach full of seals.as soon as a few started,the rest would join in.for some it looked like they just woke up and figured they should start clapping so no one would know they fell asleep.most just looked like seals clapping for a fish.kids notice funny things.did any of you notice dub mass behaviour you found funny...outlaw .

  Madman, your post just made me remember a final prayer at a convention. This really old brother had the honour. And he thanked Jehovah for everything! `....Thank you Jehovah for the two sisters who showed us how we can preach when we are letting our dog out, the two sisters even had a fake puppy with them so that we could visualise, thank you Jehovah for that blessing......` The entire thing lasted for more than 15 minutes. It was horrible, and all the dubs were just standing, shifting uncomfortably until it was over, the entire convention was repeated in that prayer...

  So...that would mean that this board is created by Satan/Simon?.... And then we all are Satan/Simon followers by coming her to post.... Kinda like the idea....

  All kidding aside, I have heard the same rubbish in the Kingdom Hall., almost a year ago. Ive even had a heated discussion about it, cause I didnt agree. In my opinion it was and is a wonderful source of information, the argument that was finally given to me was `Yes, but there is porn on the internet` Aargh.

  Is God that clever?

  is the god of the bible, as bible accounts tell us and according to witness theology clever or a bit daft and wasteful?.lets look at a few things.. god creates man.so in someway man is designed by god.now for some reason which is either a natural law which god cannot break, an error on his part or done on purpose, man is able to become imperfect.so either god could not forsee this or he carried on despite knowing what would happen if man turned imperfect.. was god right to do this?if you were god would you have carried on?was it right that if only the first two humans managed to become imperfect or made by god imperfect that all humans from then on would now be so cursed?is god using a dodgy programme or does he have no power to do things differently?.

  then god sets laws for humans.it is up to god what man can and can not do.truble is these are exactly the things humans what to do if imperfect.could god have changed things round a bit making it easier for humans to follow his laws?

  in fact those cursed with imperfection had no choice in the matter.and are punished for following their instincts.it goes so far that god says unless you follow my laws (which are impossible to follow fully as we are imperfect)i'm going to kill the lot of you?in fact i already know that hardly any will survive.. if you are an imperfect human , unable to follow god through no fault of your own, you are considered wicked.but apart from that apparently god allows some other creature with his mates to to mislead these poor humans with devious plans.they are so good that you cant even tell satan and his demon friends even exist.yet god allows tham to causes havoc among his humans.. aparently only those who manage to find out god exist through a book written thousands of years earlier , without any supporting evidence of being genuinly written by god, and only those out of that number who come across a tiny religious group , lead by a bunch of men who can not prove god is using them, and who sell their magazines by going door to door are going to be saved.. does this make sense?why does not god make it easier for humans?why allow them to be bullied and mislead by super powerful creatures?why make the "truth" so hard to find , so difficult to believe?why punish people for things they can't help doing?.
