I still sometimes beat myself up because of this, but lately I've finally come to the realization that if they do have the "truth" and I've been bad mouthing them...OH THE HELL WELL!!! I guess I'll be one of the ones falling into cracks like many of their infamous artists depictions of Armageddon. So if not being a JW means death..I guess I'm already dead so I'm trying to live life to the fullest..without all the headaches of having the JWBI(Jehovah's Witnesses Bureau of Investigations)elders after me all the time...

Tigris and Euphrates rivers
by undercover insomething just hit me as i was reading the genesis account.. genesis chapter 2:.
10 a river watering the garden flowed from eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.
11 the name of the first is the pishon; it winds through the entire land of havilah, where there is gold.

VM44 what are you talking about???
This also shows that the original writer(s) of Genesis did not know about the water cycle, and the origin of rivers.
Don't you know that GOD/JEHOVAH inspired these original writer(s) of the bible, so how can they make a mistake like not knowing that water falls from the sky and not up from the ground. They just wrote the information they dreamt/was inspired to write down wrong..It was just a simple mistake..

Society says,"The 144,000 are sinners and have made mistakes!
by Blueblades inby permitting pressure and allowing his servants to come into new situations jehovah gets to know their motives and is able to select the 144,000 "sons" from the earth for his government.. the question is not: have these members always done the right thing?
since they are sinners and have made mistakes.
so, the society admits this in a public talk given 22 years ago!.

I read somewhere where a "anointed" person took a blood transfusion and they weren't disfellowshipped for it...so was that considered a mistake or a sin??? Did they remain a part of the 144,000??

Do you still read the magazines?
by Pleasuredome ini was speaking to a lady today who isnt a witness.
she's a very intellegent, well educated and well travelled girl, and she tells me how much she enjoys reading the watchtower and awake.
i said to her that she has to be joking, and she tells me that she she likes them a lot.

i scan through them and sometimes read them to find out what they are changing because of "new light". Like i read the one about birthdays and they also had an article in the awake one time talking about fireworks. When i read this i only thought of really 2 occasions when fireworks are displayed in US and wondered why did they even do an article on them...like a JW will ever be able to enjoy them. Because dubs are not supposed to celebrate New Year's Eve and they don't celebrate July 4th either, so when would they see the fireworks.
But on another note...i just through away a large stack of them yesterday when cleaning out my room....In some deep recess of my conscience the JW pieces still left were crying out,"NOOOO don't throw them away,", but guess what...I did it anyway.....

4. Or he can go the Sunday meeting in time for the WT study and raise his hand on the first question and say:
I am visiting this congregation to find out how I can get your people to stop coming to my house. I called and asked the presiding overseer but some how the message has not gotten to the congregation. Then suggest they copy down your address for future reference. Tell him to be sure to hang onto the mike or it will be pulled away. I'm sure an elder will be by his side to be sure no one calls.
I'm really loving this way to get rid of em'

Farket said,"What freakin' "pointed indications?" That the Bible only gives TWO cases of birthday celebrations that ended in tragedy out of MILLIONS of birthday celebrations that didn't?"
I agree....Just because at 2 cases of a birthday celebration that the JW's always talk about(I never really knew about the b-day celebrations done by Job while a dub...I wonder why) something bad happened. I'm quite sure there were many other birthday celebrations held too but they aren't mentioned because NOTHING HAPPENED at them...
Just like the wedding Jesus turned water into wine, it was put into the bible because of the miracle that happened. But there are hardly any other mentioning of weddings held (correct me if I'm wrong) because nothing spectacular happened at them...So does this mean that this was the only wedding held...Of course not....but because Jesus went to a wedding celebration/reception they are OK but how do we know he never went to a uneventful birthday celebration???
