There are many mistakes done in the DNA labs.
Accidental mislabelling, contamination. The courts have trusted DNA evidence too much. There was an expose of the misleading information given by firms doing the tests in the New Scientist magazine about three years ago.

i've run into a problem and have some questions..... i'm sure most of you have seen the video on jwstruggle's youtube channel regarding my book i wrote in 2002 and the problem with the elders on getting it published.
well after my contract ran out in 2003, i retained all the rights and they told me that all left over copies would be destroyed except the few legal copies being sold on amazon, barnes & noble, alibris, etc.. so, because of the video someone asked about my book and i said that it was no longer available, they wrote back and told me it's all over the internet.. come to find out, a large canadian publisher bought out my original publisher in 2007 and 'accidently' downloaded the original file onto their computers and started selling my book [hard copies & digital] without a contract.. my question is, anyone know what the going asking price for a quiet settlement is for this type of thing?.
i know i'm not dan brown or clive cussler and probably won't get millions, but i don't want to get short-changed either.. thanks.
Offering to settle out of court can sometimes bring a decent compensation.
If the publisher doesnt want to fight in court, they at least have some idea of how much it could cost if it goes that far, and make a settlement, which will save them cash.

The only half decent JW joke I know:

i have some family and friends still in the organization.
i don't actively seek updates - my lovely contacts provide me with them unsolicited.
so far the updates have been reliable and confirmed sooner or later by subsequent developments.
I loathed having to get dressed up, and travel to a measly 45 minute meeting that was scheduled partway through the evening so the whole night was trashed.

Paul is basically doing his "thing" here:
In several of his epistles, he quotes verses from the OT which originally spoke of YHWH, but then replaces the name with Lord and applies it to Jesus. Since he was individually approached by Christ, this must be what he wanted Paul to do.
The classic examples are in Heb 1, where words originally addressed to the Father, are put into his mouth, as he addresses his son.
There are other examples in Isaiah, which the NWT deliberately alters so it appears to refer to their sock puppet, rather than his sidekick.
I remember a former dub, who ended up being chased by the elders because he spoke of jesus too much. As they said "you sound like a born again Christian."
I think it was Little Toe who once gave a talk where he deliberately omitted the nam Jehovah for the first 10 - 15 minutes. The tension in the audience became palpable, and when he uttered the magic word they almost sighed with relief.

as the information age is apon us and it doesn't take that much information to easily prove this new light by the governing body granting them absolute loyalty and power is a blatant power grab by a bunch of over the hill ego maniacs i see a revolt in the making..
Look at when revolts and revolutions have happened in History.
Russia: The serfs were freed and greater power given to the Russian Parliament.
France: Greater powers given to the middle classes.
Russia: (1980s) more freedoms given.
In other words revolt only seems to happen when the thinking people are givein greater freedom - freedom above all else from FEAR.
Being in Da Troof in the 21st cent. is like living in a police state where everybody is controlled by fear, and rewarded by climbing up the food chain. Untill this fear, holding families to ransom, ostracising dissent, and the "informer culture" is got rid of, we will never see a revolt from the ranks.
Look what happened when they relaxed the rules on education about 1993. People were givien their inch and took the mile.
Those cultish eight old fools in NY know what is at stake. I know I am not prepared to give my mind over to eight ignorant old men. paul said he was astonished that having been set free in Christ, people were enslaving themselves to the views of mere men.
