How do JWs explain Egyptian society and culture surviving the flood?

ok this is something have been wondering.

has anyone heard any explanation from jws as to how egypt, which even the wt admits existed 4600 years ago, was eliminated by a global flood but resumed a few short years later with the same culture, language etc.

the pyramids are older than the wt date for the flood.

There was a Question Box in a Kingdumb Misery a while back that forbade asking any question that the Gibberin Buddies had not already asked and dealt with themselves in the litterature.

Asking too many questions always brings you under suspicion in any police state.

They are not concerned that a MINOR is a "willing " participant??

The courts have long rejected the defence that a youngster below age of consent was "gagging" for it.

If you do it with a minor it is a crime - no matter how much you were begged or coerced. CRIME - therefore, like murder, it should be reported!

There is one case on Silentlambs.org, where a little girl was molested, and the elders actually wanted to know if she had "led him on." (Obviously the little slut was gagging for it)

But then the infamous "Murder Letter" to a Florida congo shows that in Witchtower la la Land even taking a life can be hushed up.

Also - bear in mind that if a molestor moves to another congo, the Beth Hell decides whether or not he is a "known" child molestor ("predator"), and decides whether the elduhs should tell the next congregation or NOT(!!) So they have it in their hands to protect the children of oblivious parents at another kingdumb hell or NOT.

Sorry - I amend my criticism somewhat - paragraph 13 says the elders should meet with the parents of minor children and warn them of the danger. This never happened before.

i'm looking to see if the number of partakers has increased again (as it has for many years now).

many friends i've spoken with are becoming discouraged.

because of this it's becoming tempting to privately share my views with friends, but i know this is still too dangerous.

most witnesses in my circle are intelligent free thinkers.

Very true. At one time there was maybe one person here and there in the circuit who everybody knew as a nut job.

Maybe one in a congregation.

Now I feel like I am in a room with mental patients on day release ("let outs" as mental health workers call them)

Talking to these LET OUTS with their ridiculous obsessions with demons, diet and depressions makes me feel like I am in a a Twighlight Zone Limboland.

And yes - nowadays most normal people work hard during the day, and play hard in their free time - so you only ever meet misfits and drop outs with some crisis going on. There is a brochure to hit everybody's weakness.

I am sure that once cheap easily available BOOKS came along, you had diehards saying there was no pleasure like curling up in bed with a good minstrel.

Culrling up in bed with a book is dying. Youngsters now have no hesitation in using new technologies.

The "BOOK" is set to become a luxury item, for pleasure in the quality of printing paper and presentation.

Think of all the trees that are not going to be cut down and pulped - it has to be a good thing in the long run.

Incidentally - did anybody notice how the Kindle when it first came out was shaped like the reader Janeway in Startrek Voyager was always holding?

Why remove John 8:1-11 in the NWT if these verses speak highly of Jesus

i understand these verses were removed in the nwt as well as some other bibles because they were added later & considered uninspired.

jesus protected an adultress so why remove it?

it fits in nicely with his teachings, does it not?

Yet the Witchtower insists that "the body of Christian Litterature THAT HAS BECOME PART OF THE BIBLE" is authority. Yes - they actually printed that in a WT study a while back. (You'll need to search as I dont have the lit anymore - too afraid of demonic attack....

Of course they mean their heaps of steaming WT magazines and books, most of which is obsolete and self contradicting.

Yet they can edit the Bible. Try doing that with a WT volume and see how fast they DF you!!

The Watchtower has always said they HAVE NO CLERGY CLASS!!!!

So how can they claim clergy penitent privilege - especially as this is defined as between the clergyman and his parishioner and DOES NOT INVOLVE ANOTHER PARTY to the info???

This was shot down in US courts, as the WT requires elders to inform Beth Hell of all confessions to sin or crime, thus nullifyong any so - called "clergy privilege."

Go find it yourself and listen.

Oh - and the "Faith in Action" DVD is dishonest. Compare the photo in Proclaimers book of the stage at Cedar Point in 1919 with the video.

The Photo of the stage in the book shows the platform surrounded by American Flags. These are airbrushed out in the video. WHY?

One thing that still sickens me is the way jdubs lie to themselves and others, and the way their memories automatically delete and update - rather like the Stargate episode.

Furuli is a teacher of languages in Sweden, I believe.

He is not qualified to evalute the astronomical data. (Which backs up 587)

He is not qualified to assert that tablets have been tampered with, and NOT consult an EXPERT (that means somebody with credetials to prove he can be trusted)

Furuli is a JDUB. He knows that to disagree with the eight popes will get him DF, and he will lose all his friends and family.
