  New Study Exposes Acupuncture As Pseudoscience

  besides it being pseudoscience, what interests me about this is that even though it's something to do with the "qi" energy flowing in our bodies, that wasn't a problem for some members of my family or a special pioneer i knew.. new study exposes acupuncture as pseudoscience.

  PRAY TELL:

  Were the patients in the HOUSTON double blind test charged the full fee for treatment, even if they got the pretend placebo?

  How many American patients are being charged the FULL WHACK for surgery or drug therapy etc, and not told they are being given a sugar pill?

  How is this right in the land of the free??

  If I went into hospital, I am not sure I would even trust the doctors anymore - Am I getting a proven treatment, a new treatment that could kill me in the experiment, or a bit of sugar?????? And MY money pays for the experiment on ME!!??

  The exams are very critical - Miss ONE point and you fail totally and have to resit. Also if you miss a point by a cm the patient would be in PAIN.

  In view of the new understanding of sheep and goats, what will happen to all those who died between 1919 and the new 1990s understanding without any "scriptural" hope of a resurrection. as they died judged as goats. Will they remain dead? Will recent fatalities be resurrected?

  Yet every witless I knew laughed when the RC changed their teachings on Purgatory and Hell, even though the RC qouted the light gets brighter in Proverbs, and explained that God had progressively revealed his will in History.

  So how do we dismiss MAINSTREAM doctors in China performing surgery using acupuncture instead of aneasthetics.

  WHO exactly did this study, who was it funded by and what alternative were the (nodoubt) pharmaceuticals firms pushing as an alternative?

  Acupuncture certainly alters the brain's perception of the body. it has been used for bowel problems and depression, very effectively.

  It is a discipline so old it was being practised in China when we in the west still thought that leeches would balance the four humors.

  The energy flow theory behind it may not really be the explanation, but western doctors dont understand it either.

  mine just popped in my head and i just had to share it.

  a few years ago i went with a special pioneer(and elder) at one of his studies who was a cow herder in the mountains.

  obviously, even though we were going to the middle of nowhere, where no one lived, we just had to go all dressed up in nice suits and all.
