  got this one today.... i got this from a sister in our hall, it show's when we have that gut feeling to go back to a door we were just at to follow that feeling!

  Trinity quote....who remembers?

  i'm hoping someone here can help me out.

  i am involved in an on-going study with a jehovah's witness and our current topic of discussion is whether or not trinity is a biblical doctrine.

  i seem to vaguely remember a wt quote where if people study the bible alone, they end up believing this trinity idea....did i dream this one up?

  i'm sure most of you are all aware of the myth that the wts perpetrates.

  they boldly make the claim that jehovah's witnesses are the most loving, compassionate and kind people on the face of the earth.

  thats a really interesting statement considering some of the things that i have seen.

  There were some JWs who, when designing their swimming pool, were concerned that the shire had restrictions on pump noise. Thinking that the shire was right, that it was a terrible and perpetual sound, they put the pump where they couldn't hear it [around the back next to the neighbours] - and it's not the first time I've seen it either.

  I had finished the post, but I wanted to add - I've never personally known things like that before. The religion is a stink from what I can see.

  Questions From Readers-Complete Immersion?

  must one get baptized (complete immersion) no matter how severe their handicap?.

  (paragraph 2, sentence 3..."since baptism by complete immersion is a scriptural requirement, humans have no authority to exempt someone from baptism.".

  my thoughts: what elder/co/do will dare take a risk in exempting one from baptism if they have been told by the society that no human has the authority to do this?

  Could we be living in the last days?

  i am wondering , with the world situation that way it is, could we be living in the last days?

  putting religion, and personal beliefs aside, are we are the brink of all of this coming to an end?

  geneocide, could happen because of what mankind is doing to the earth.

  Perhaps now this board can fulfill its purpose of discussing JW-related issues such as reforming the problems plaguing the organization.

  Well that's certainly not my purpose Derrick. I'm here to see no WT stone left upon another. "What agreement has the temple of God with idols?"

  How can you reform the WT? Is there any form that it contains that is of use? Recreate maybe.

  ".. come out from them, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch nothing unclean; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you",.... Unclean doesn't mean on the outside Derrick.

  The only real issue is - Is is best to converse with them (and have them believe themselves to be in someway ok) or give them up and abandon them so they may question themselves deeply (the young aside)?

  i just noticed some more anti apostate lessons in the latest watchtower.

  here is a scan of the offending article, may 15, 2002, p. 27 .

  looks like we are all now poisonous roots, and a fellow believer must not divulge confidential matters that might endanger them.
