It appears that you have been a victim of misinformation carepet. Their 'Bible knowledge' is fleshly foolishness and they are ignorant of such things.

i know that jehovah`s witnesses are the most loving people on this planet, and deserve all the kindness, consideration and love in return.

they are spending their whole lives, trying to save ours.

it is so easy to bring or put people down, but when one reads the scriptures in the correct context as they do, there is nothing any one can say against them.

if only we read jehovah`s word more often and study it as they do then there would be peace and love toward and for each other.

may jehovah god be with you for ever.

heard the expression "having a bet each way"?
you know how it goes, someone doesn't want to give offense or get "offside" with readers, colleagues etc so they try and agree with two conflicting arguments simultaneously.
the watchtower wouldn't do that, would it?
They refused to take part in Hitler's murderous wars - translates as "am I my brother's keeper?"
Don't JWs have musicians at their meetings?

do you think ppl really listen?
do most ppl really care enough to really hear what another person is saying from the heart?
i dont believe that most ppl really listen to what your saying, i think they are listening for a break in the conversation so they can talk.
Well, I listen all the time, I'm a real listener, let me just tell you about this listening I was doing......
Hey, here's to listening.

i saw a report on tv just now of how two baptist mininisters beat the living daylights out of some kid for not attending the correct bible class.
the kid suffered kidney damage and the ministers have been arrested.
this reminded me of how my jw brother used to take his boys out the back and beat them black and blue every time his patience ran out with them for not sitting still for 2+ hours.
"But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked."
The ways of the wtbts are death.

I very much respect your persistence in accomodating our language, so I'll be saying this in yours as my ability allows.
Auswendig kann ich Ihnen nichts sagen. Wir haben erfahren, dass jws wissen gar nichts wegen der Bibel. Ein tollkhn der Haufen Lgen.
My confidence in this is unimpeachable. Ich wei was ich will.

I thought it was "WIMBLETON". I have to admit I've never read it.
What is it?
Bang from Suncoast, Oz
as i was exercising this morning i was thinking about my decision to step down as a ministerial servant and also to stop attending religious functions of any kind.
i've often felt that jws were somewhat flawed in their interpertation of the scriptures, but this morning it kind of hit me all at once that no 2 religions are going to have the exact same beliefs even though both religions might be using the same translation of the bible.
this disturbing fact raises quite a few thought provoking questions:.
No, I'm skeptical of the motives of people that are looking for God in a book rather than in the people they see, and it gives an answer to the question asked. "You search the scriptures but don't come to me"
And, that it's not like somekind of business deal where you're required to understand a written contract that you better get it right or you might lose in the deal - that's the thing with Judas and Esau - loss in a deal. It doesn't matter what religion you are really. I read the Dalai Lama say "My religion is kindness". Christ said "I want kindness". So to me the Dalai is a good Christian, but not just because it's written that Christ said that. That may well be, but my own sense of right and wrong agrees, or my yes is no and my no, yes.
So many people people are looking for the "truth" in an effort to find where to measure out and pay the appropriate sacrifice - and they can't find it so they remain confused - "where do I pay?"
I also believe in the current occurence of prophecy, miracles etc. and it's just that I don't like to talk very much about certain things.
