life's complexity defies demand for a designer
by tom siegfried / the dallas morning news
life is complicated, and explaining it is more complicated still or so it would seem.
I went down the beach and lit a cracker. It went everywhere and did all sorts of things. Who knows what it was going to do or how far it would go. I think it was designed to do that.

lately, more and more elders are either resigning or being deleted.
a few elders have been known to be "good elders", brothers that really did care about the flock more than the organization.
some that are presently elders are having their own crisis of conscience.most elders that i have come to know are quite simply, not that bright.
Concerned and caring as 'some' may be, I can't help but wonder about anyone promoting such tripe as the wt puts out - the overbearing genocidal god who enjoys kiss ass friends, the demon infested belongings, and that 'wicked system' is to blame for woes - not their own luxury by any means. And that's the best of them?
I refuse to see how someone can be a willing and active promoter of such hatefilled crapology to the public at large, people they don't even know or know about, and remain to be somehow blameless of being an asshole.
Someone please convince me.

a friend sent me this story.
comforter thank you ladys like this one.. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20020805/wl_nm/vatican_excommunication_dc.
comfort
And many in the vatican will remain patronistic and reserved and conservative, even fundamental, in such matters of spiritual freedom. The nuns, as others in the past, may well be canonised in years to come - a lot of catholics in the past have given their life for their fellow man like this, rather than abandon them. Those who walk in the light have no cause for stumbling - like Christ, they'll get themselves kicked out of the synagogue, and if necessary maybe come back and get killed over it, and plainly reveal who's who. I'd like to know more background of this particular story though, before forming any opinions in their case.
I disagree with Ratzinger over much - I'm at liberty to, that's the beauty of it - and I'm perfectly at liberty to suffer for it too - sometimes it's the only thing that both works and safeguards the free will of the perpetrator.

since the watchtower is known infamously for changing doctrine back and forth and they can't make up their minds at the headquarters, i was wondering about an important question that should be asked to every jehovah's witness that you may come across with.
what happens if the watchtower changes a doctrine that they now consider old light?
let me elaborate on this question.
They'll follow the ever elusive changing light, because they haven't found anyone else with such ""wonderful promises"" or such clean and swept houses.

this morning's paper had an article on the amish [nothing in depth, just about how they sell their wares at local markets] but it brought to mind the ideas of the amish - they want no part of the world, they don't like to call attention to themselves, don't baptize little children, and they shun those who leave the faith.
i was just wondering if anyone here could shed some light on how jws view the amish.
are they impressed?
Maybe it was those "wonderful promises".

we all probably know already that jws don't celebrate christmas, labeling it a pagan holiday and telling its whole sordid history to anyone who'll listen.
however, i found out that wedding rings are pagan in origin.
the jws know it but they include the exchange of rings during the wedding ceremony, explaining that rings are exchanged as an outward symbol to everyone that this couple is married, thus justifying the pagan origin of the whole thing.
Eating the flesh of the people and animals whose strength you want to absorb, shows how inclusive of all mankind the bible is, inclusive of the earliest and most basic type of thoughts. For dubdom to believe that the bible is "all about them" just goes to show who you've been dealing with.

i am born in the truth.now i am 40 years old and have thrown all my wt literature in the trash can.i am ashamed that i have been in the watchtower orginazation and in my prayer to jehovah i have said that i only belong to him.
Why the trash - what about a ceremonial incineration ?
bang
i have a question: as you all know jehovah's witnesses view crystal ball, physics, as demonized or anything that is not suppose to be in the house like tarot cards.
and jehovah's witness believe that the demons would bother them if they do these activities or have them in the house.
do you still believe that or do you think it is the society's way of mind control over their members?
Deal with them like Jesus did - " what's your name?"

the title is not misleading.
i can prove that monsters really exist, although genetic tests of the species of these monsters might frighten and alarm you.
tests will reveal human dna.
Provided they stick to the message from God's written word, the Holy Bible, ........
But they don't.

i still say that, christiaity is f--- up in these last days.. christianity teaches that the messiah is god, when the bible clearly points out that jesus is a prophet sent by god... jesus prayed to god<----that's the biggest proof... so i think if anybody believe that jesus is god, is not only an'-ti-christ(not accepting) but also a liar, foolish, and you knoweth nothing, and you are not close to god or christ, you are closer to that devil which we call satan....
But i believe that to believe the trinity you must have been influenced by something other than the bible
"Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you"
