  sister x, was somewhat of an enigma in the congregation, certainly a 'one-off'!

  allegedly she suffered from an 'illness' that incapacitated her at strangely convenient times!

  My problem is that one Bible writer counsels God's people not to even talk about that which is unholy. Let is not be mentioned among you, he says. That is the problem.

  Well, yeah. So if posters keep themselves to their Yes being Yes and their No being No, well, what can you say - it's part of their make up, that which is whole. Do you think God likes 'fine' speak, if it doesn't reflect someone's true feeling?

  Do you think you'd find Jesus at the kh speaking 'fine', or at the pub telling the truth?

  I am of the mind that what emanates from a man's mouth is a reflection of what he is inwardly.

  I'm sure we all agree on that, but you can't hold back prophecy. The Lord did say that the righteous would laugh.
  Not sure about scoffing though: you know, that arrogant thing that dubs get up to when they think other people are 'bird seed'.

  Seaken, I posted twice.
  - writing to comforter that JWs are unable to sustain a critical debate because there's no truth in their religion, even according to their own bible, and unless they have a 'captive' audience, they will always feel targeted for dismissal.

  Not there comforter?

  Well, I'll continue to debate - you see, Cain grew his own 'food' which may have sustained him even though it wasn't meat - even so, the sheep ate the natural stuff.
  But after he rose up, well, he couldn't find any satisfying food in the ground (humility) to sustain him. So spiritually he just Nodded off found a wife there instead.

  Where can you join in this, with all the dub 'bible knowledge'.

  Just imagining the tripe they serve up gets me in that riled attitude, I'll just leave off at that, before the cuss and the FU.

  You advocates of free speech need to put some binders on your speech.

  The problem is, when JWs become involved in critical debate, they don't have a leg to stand on - the very foundations of their religion is a lie.

  Check this out,
  How would a JW adequately refute this simple observation.

  Cain worked quite hard and obviously took pride in his sacrifice to God and he hated the fact that God liked Abel - he didn't think that Abel deserved it as much as he did, so, not humble, he rose up - against him, putting him down, killed off.
  When asked about him, Cain said "that's not my problem".

  This is the story of jehovah's witnesses, and the doctrine.
  Now try and tell me different in a believable debate - in five minutes or so.

  So it said many would be slain to worship that image and so it was with the Crusades, Inquisition, Holocaust, Poland Massacre etc. Over thousands of wars and 50 Million murders slain to worship the image Rome created.

  A multitude of deaths can also be associated with other religions - check out the Japanese alone.

  In eras past the RCC was much more the unified centre of traditional Christianity. Today, although there are a heck of a lot of Catholics, Christianity has multiple off-shoots.
  The RCC considers Christ to be God and Mary the one who accepted His will to bear Him. Mary is said to carry the divine, and also be with the divine, and as people believe her to be with Him they pray to (ask) her to speak with Jesus for them - it's a humble act - they think themselves unworthy to speak to God - and they know He hasn't abandoned His mother, but rather, shown us her gift - behold, your mother.

  Buddhists and others, regardless of whether they come to Jerusalem also consent to carry the Spirit of God for their fellowman. In prayer I think they find themselves with God in their house, as mothers.

  GB has dealt treacherously with Younger Anointed!

  the younger anointed (those who came in after 1935) in the organization are treated by the gb as both a whore and a beloved wife.. the whore: for years they have published articles whose intent was to denigrate the younger anointed.

  as a result many of these younger anointed ones have had to fight a spiritual uphill battle with their elders and circuit overseers because the watchtower paints them as falsely claiming spiritual union with the christ.. .

  the beloved wife: yet, it is from this group of younger anointed that the gb has picked 5 members of the governing body!!

  Ever tried to get away from jovy type bible reading.

  Don't be like Cain and kill your brother - don't do it out of envy.

  Such as the envy that jovies have regarding the rest of the world, hating their human brothers to have good things because they don't think their brother deserves it like they do.
  Jovies walk in the way of Cain - it's the whole religion.

  There you guys go again, getting your hopes up based on fairy tales.

  It seems you missed the 'point'.

  The whole thing is spiritual, not "moral" the jovy meaning of spiritual, and it's certainly not physical history - the Bible even Says that it's spiritual - spirituality merges toward Christ, before and after Him.

  You wonder why Roman historians took the bible record for granted?

  Morality points toward Him, and humanity recognises. "Behold, the lamb of God"

  The consideration of physical history and morality are not the same as spiritual. The fundies aren't satisfied by wrestling with Christ, they need to nail Him down before they'll lift Him up - they have various possessions to consider (spiritual Babylon). The Spirit is not contained by their way. The jovies of course don't lift Him up but bind and nail Him at their own level and proceed to torture Him to death and then deny the Spirit even exists.
