I think you've begun a journey into the light - and that you'll come to see how judgement has already come their way. Perhaps what your looking for is that they come into the light, and see themselves.

i, myself are not a witness, i am 18, male and live in england.. six months ago i met a 17 year old jehovah's witness, became very attached to her and grew to love her.
her mother does not approve of the relationship at all and has resorted to threats to throw her out, grounding her, ignoring her, contacting elders, unless she discontinues seeing me.
first question: if her not seeing me makes her very unhappy and her seeing me makes her very happy-why is it wrong that we stay together?

Good to see things looking up for you. I'm not a jw or even an ex-jw, so I don't know the spiritual gems - to be blunt I haven't heard any that I can think of. Also I can't see any 'first judgement' going their way, though I do see a judgement (consideration) according the Word; just as I haven't heard spiritual gems, I wonder that they don't have fore-giveness, spiritual growth having been withheld ("it is God who gives the growth").
And Youknow, your right about God not being incapable. It has occurred simply as it was said, as it does to all - and just like He said, they prefer to remain in the dark ("and this is the judgement").

i heard from an old friend today - she is a young woman i knew from my last congregation.
i was asked to attend her bible study because we shared a profession and it was thought we would have something in common.
in fact, she was a very shy young woman shy and attractive, but not in the traditional, flashy way of many witness girls.

To further what you have written AGuest,
The instruction is to also promote the trust in the message that was delivered. Upon receipt of the Good News the householder was then able to share this. "Do not go from house to house" includes a trust in what has been done, that a Good seed was planted. I'll certainly not be going from house to house in the sense of jw ministry - aside from the statement, there isn't an example to follow regarding the way jws spread their message - as there plainly is for the other Way.
And I think the idea of seeking better accomodations would not have even been an issue - that sounds like it comes from the distrust in the world of jwism. However, in a spiritual sense, seeking other accomodations might have been a temptation.
And elders kid,
The wages are simply more food and drink - I suppose you could consider that they would want more of this food and drink, but I don't think it's about chastising the greedy.

i was wondering what the technical difference between a df and and apostate is from a jw perspective.
is there ever a point of no return according to current jw doctrine?
What sort of sin?
Pride "I'm good"; fear "It wasn't me"; distrust "He'll never love me, I'd better do more"; despair "He is going to kill me"; darkness "That's not true"; and so forth.
Perhaps a mixture; fear, hate, pride, cowardice, "He has a demon" - an answer to what is perceived as a threat to self-concept, or rather, what one prefers to think about self (the tree of knowledge of good and evil).
At that point, the most love can be expressed by withholding - to not fore-give, though Jesus is still fore-giving to those who simply deny the Son.
Which loving parent would give a child more in that state; best that they "don't have fore-giveness" as they are in danger of staying that way - "but is in danger of eternal damnation".
This scripture is one of THe most important - part of the Good News; it carries a mystery that is the beauty of God. (Look into Easter Saturday)
