why then, did no one reveal to me the history of the wtbts before i became a baptized publisher?
why do we encourage those of other faiths to look into their religion objectivley and yet we are not allowed to do the same of ours?

I'll never forget how I would ask a question, like it was a question I heard in field service because I was too scared to let JW,s know it was really my question.
i have been asked to give a talk on the jw's, about 30-45 mins long.. but there is so much i would like to say that it could end up being either very long or boring or both.
if you had to give a talk about jw's to a group of people who really had no idea about jw beliefs and culture.

we've recently started to get visits from varying pairs of dubs.

Yes, as my mom would say; Don't you know Satan already has all the worldly people, the people in christendom. That's why it's so hard for us as witnesses because Satan is concentrating all his efforts on us.
Poor witnesses they're the only people on earth able to succesfully stand up to Satan.

I thought I remembered that the JW,s believed that when the nation of Israel was being set up after WWII it was the start of Gods kingdom on earth, but then because of the way the Jewish nation acted with regard to the military and other things JW,s realized it wasn't?????????
For some reason I remember sitting at a book study and hearing it was in the 1900's, and the reason that they stopped believing this was because Israel was using a military and not just trusting in Jehovah.

i never recieved any answers from the mighty ones regarding why they were called the faithful and dscret slaves.
and if their mission was to give out food to the naive mindless flock , then why was i starving for answers?
soon i gave up when mom continually said to keep to my lessons in the wt and stop questioning jehopes orderly organization..
Discreet - careful about what one says or does: prudent. cautious with ones judgement.
This they are not. one example that they even admit to is the whole 1914 thing how they were over anxious and expecting the wrong thing at the right time and all that.
My opinion is that if you don't know something, be discreet and keep your mouth shut. Don't influence thousands of people to follow your whims.
It always amazes me how everything in the bible relates to the WTS and FDS.
Who would have known that recorded history over thousands of years in the bible would all be linked to brooklyn in the 20 century.
