  with the public talk being shortened, the "members only" wt, and the bombshell in the sept.km comming up, i was wondering:.

  has the society given up hope of bringing in new ones in affluent countries (with the exception of the foreign language field)?

  are they thinking that they have to hover around those already "in", and not lose them because, now that they have access to info on the internet, new ones are just not going to "buy" the message?.

  You apostates have been away from Jehovah's spiritual table for so long that you cannot see the signs of the end.

  The new Watchtower and KM are signs that we are deep in the last days.

  The door on the ark is slowly begining to close. Soon the organisation will not allow any worldly people to see any of it's life

  saving spiritual truths. Then it will be too late!!!!

  Come back to the kingdom hall now, before it is too late!!!!!

  watchtower says you have it but you can't use it.

  i knew several that got df'd for drunkenness but never anyone for gluttony.

  as far as i can remember, in the bible there weren't categories or various levels of sin; and both these are mentioned as sinful.

  last i looked, there were an awful lot of very obese witnesses in the congs.

  it seems to me that one thing jws have got wrong is their view on christs resurrection, resurrection of humans,and the whole soul/spirit debate.

  consider 1st the resurrection of christ:.

  1. jesus said he would raise up the temple of his body...not spirit, after 3 days.

  I never liked their explanation for Matthew 22:31,32 either,

  As regards the ressurection of the dead,did you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying I am the God of Abraham and the God of Issac and the God of Jacob? He is the God, not of the dead, but of the living.

  I think "christendoms" explanation of this is much easier to swallow.

  JW elder on stage giving talk " brothers and sisters there is no life after death, there is NO life after death.

  It is all double talk and pisses me off.

  Conversation with street witnessor (?) becomes elder infused

  yesterday, thursday, july 26, 2007, a conversation with a street witnessor (isn't that what you would call someone involved in street witnessing?

  ) got joined by a walk-up elder turned into a great opportunity to witness to several bystanders (who even joined in the conversation).. i began by declining to accept the offer from the elderly woman who held up a "what does god require of us?

  i said, "but, verne, you aren't going to the bible.

  i've never seen this discussed on this site but in cases where a witness is encouraged to die rather.

  than accept blood, what does their will say?.

  what i'm getting at is the thought that , if a person intends to leave property to the watchtower,.

  I saw a member of the GB on the way to work today!!!!!!

  actually, i didn't see any member of the gb on the way to work, either dead or alive.. what i do see on the way to work is this: if i look over to my left, i see the big, beautiful, pacific ocean.

  on my way home, when i look over to my right, i see the big, beautiful, pacific ocean.

  so while the rest of you are dodging deer, and gagging on diesel exhaust, i'm breathing-in the fine salt-air.. just thought you might like to know.
