i've been inactive for a very long time now (like 10+ years), so, i don't expect to hear anything from it, but my parents are worried i'll get df.

I've haven't been bothered by the elders and have been putting out lights for 20 years. I faded 30 years ago and still haven't been DF'd.

My now deceased dad always said while laughing, "this is the perfect time for Jehovah to bring armageddon. All he has to do is look for the houses with Christmas lights and then he knows who to destroy."

Ahhh the good ole days.

Currently my JW sister gets upset this time of year because worldly people are not suffering and are actually having fun and celebrating. LOL

Why does Jehovah get angry at his children when they celebrate his son's birthday?

I wouldn't get mad if others celebrated my son's birthday even if it was on the wrong date.

Hell now that I think about it people celebrate their birthdays on the wrong date all the time.

If your child's birthday is Tuesday everyone is like, "yeah let's just wait for Saturday or Sunday to have the party."

Is Jehovah jealous of his own son getting a birthday and he doesn't or is he just very moody and tempermental?

This is all so very confusing that Jehovah is so fickle and thin skinned.

Memories of Excessive Laughter

jw's are not known for laughter.

there are the rare exceptions.

they are more known for their fear mongering and doomsday scenarios where "the dead shall come to be as manure on the surface of the ground from one end of the earth clear to the other".

For the most part I don't think they are any different than anyother other group.However, I think there are more dubs who laugh inappropriately when there is nothing funny,

My brother and a few others I know do this and it drives me crazy. They have this stupid smile on their face all the time no matter what they are saying and always chuckling.

We just had a presidential candidate who did this. It wasn't her laugh that people mocked it was like "why the hell are you laughing right now there's nothing funny." For her it was a defensive delay tactic to give a reaction to a question so that her brain had time to come up with a reply. Pseudobulbar affect (PBA) is actually a neurological condition maybe that's what they have?
