  witnesses with world weight.

  as a witness did you feel like you had the weight of the world on you?.

  a start of a list of things that made me feel like i had the weight of the world on my back.. i'm part of an exclusive true religon that is speaking for god himself, i must obey.

  As a witness did you feel like you had the weight of the world on you?
  A start of a list of things that made me feel like I had the weight of the world on my back.

  I'm part of an exclusive true religon that is speaking for God himself, I must obey.
  I am part of a privleged few on earth that God chose to do his work.
  I have special knowledge of God and the future.
  I'm responsible to convert all people to JW so they aren't killed, thereby saving myself from being killed.
  Of course must attend 5 meetings and do 10 hours of selling literature or god will hate me.

  Others?

  After leaving the JWs I felt a huge burden lifted from me.

  Seeing the people, He had compassion on them,
  because they where distressed and dispirited, like sheep without a sheperd.

  adherents of jw dogma are boastful of a new website (http://www.jehovahsjudgment.co.uk/607) which they claim has "irrefutable" proof for their 607 doctrine.

  it is full of problems, and i will indicate these section by section, as time permits.. why is 607bce an important date to jehovah's witnesses.

  the introduction paints jws as the persecuted underdog.

  I didn't mean to take away from your research I appreciate it.

  I meant my post as a simple way to open jws eyes.

  If 1914 can be calculated using the bible as jws say,

  they then make Jesus a liar.

  REALLY, Why Do People Remain Jehovah's Witnesses???

  i think it's all about fear.

  they are always afraid of displeasing jehovah god, the elders, the circuit overseer.

  witnesses are always walking on eggshells, hoping that they'll be good enough to make it thru the great tribulation.

  If the JW's keep saying the end is so close it will never come. Tell them they are preventing it from

  coming because they can't shut up about it. If they would shut up about it then

  the scriptures could be fulfilled : no one knows the hour........ It's coming like a thief in the night........ days of Noah took no notice............

  Just tell them to shut up! it feels good typing it, imagine how good it would feel to say it!

  in my opinion, these posters are much more dangerous to the wts and wts like religions then more liberal or posters with a more atheist viewpoints.. they just have some slight differences and will promote indipendent thinking, without realizing it themselfs.

  some jw's can believe in them without being apostate in there opinion.

  those people can devide congregations.. what do you think?.

  I think it does open their minds because they need to search non WT publications for additional and more detailed information, thereby causing them to start thinking.

  You can not be objective about something, if the only information you have is provided

  by the thing you are trying to be objective about.

  Try to prove Islam is a false religon, using only their own literature.

  Try to prove dubs are f'ed up using their own literature.

  You can't do it.

  ok, take for example the oral sex thread and the fact that the dubs reversed their thinking on this.

  so, twenty years ago (within the marriage arrangements) blow job = disfellowshipping... now it's a "matter of conscience".

  Now you know why the Pharsisees did not listen to Jesus they were being loyal to

  God's organization here on earth.

  Nicodemus snuck out at night while the brothers weren't looking and ran ahead of Jehovah.

  I wonder how many other pharisees would have talked to Jesus if they had a private internet

  forum where they knew the organization couldn't catch them?

  This Generation

  the november 1, 1995 watchtower articles, "saved from a wicked generation and "a time to keep awake" introduced new light on the meaning of "this generation".. .

  if this is the case, then why is there an article currently on the watchtower's official website entitled "gods purpose soon to be realized"?.

  maybe jehovah's witnesses will also be interested in seeing this 'bait and switch tactic' that the watchtower is feeding the unsuspecting public first hand.. http://www.watchtower.org/library/pr/article_07.htm.

I copied the whole page in my e-mail and put this one font modification and comment in. Thus, all the features of the last days must take place within the lifetime of one generation, the generation of 1914. So some people who were alive in 1914 will still be alive when this system comes to its end. That generation of people is now very advanced in years, indicating that there is not much time left before God brings this present system of things to an end.

  ( 2006-1914 = 92 year old people are the only ones left in this generation, the end must come soon)
