JWs can toast now….what’s next
by FFGhost inso you can see from multiple topics here (& elsewhere), based on gb update #4, jws now have permission to toast.. there’s been a boatload of “xyz is now allowed” over the past couple of years….beards, no ties in field service or at the kh, sister can wear pants at the kh & in field service…... what do you think is next?.
a lot of folks are speculating on birthday celebrations being allowed, and i agree that will eventually come, but i don’t think it is next.
too big of a jump.. heres my guess:.

Few JW leader have children
by slimboyfat init’s been discussed before that few jw leaders, past and present, have had children.
this is in contrast with other groups, such as the mormons, whose leaders have had a lot of children.
i wonder if this has impacted jw growth.

Fancy dress up parties were banned by Elders after our 2nd one
by Witness 007 inso i grew up in a small town with lots of witnesses so being bored we had two fancy dress up parties now some brothers came with swords and fake guns as pirates or cowboys one brother who was a pioneer came dressed as a woman!
the elders smashed us in a talk they gave and these fun parties were cancelled..

No suprise.
Our area (Lehigh Valley, PA) had skating parties Monday nights. They were fun for everyone, old and young people alike. They were great, something where you weren't being forced to ingest Watchtower propaganda, but still be able to see the bros and sisters. I actually met my wife through these parties. Teens started gettting in trouble after the parties.
and that was the end of the skating parties.

Thus to be inspired by God means one is motivated by God to say or do something.
So the Watchtower writers were inspired by God by using the Bible, as God's word, to motivate what they wrote.So, God motivates JW annointed GB leaders to speak, write and spread incorrect information, got it.

My answer to all of this is: mankind is too dumb to understand God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
It's like expecting a horse to understand a car, engine and gasoline.
