  Why all the hostility toward WTS?

  .

  i'm very new to this and please understand, but at one time or another most everyone here was a loyal and faithful witness.. if you disapproove of it or don't fit in as i don't.

  why keep pounding at them it is like an obsession.. i would really like to know.

  They are reinforceing the reasons they have left. There has been a lot of pain that has come from the society by misleading doctrine. I know I went to prison because of the hardline neutrality stand only to have the idea of non combatant service reversed, others did not have to take the societies stand and go to prison, think of it, the President of the United States was more compasionate than the president of the WTS in that he granted amenesty to those that had to leave the county, and those that had gone to prison for those beliefs, go to prison or get dissfellowshipped. I had been married just 10 months to my loving pioneer wife when I was sentenced to 3 years. I lost her to cancer after 35 years of marriage

  My Observation...How Come?

  i've nearly finished reading the 2 ray franz books and i've been on this forum for a few months and i've wondered about this:.

  on both the books and the forum much is said about the watchtower lying ,misleading ,being a false prophet ,having no conscience toward the after effects of decisions they have made that have effected peoples lives ,even sometimes tragically.. well ,ok ,but my observation is this :very rarely ,if at all, does anyone say directly that the watchtower is lead and influenced by satan.does this mean that :.

  ones have lost faith in god /religion because of the watchtower org and now don't really believe in satan now.

  advice please

  i am not a jw and never have been.

  actually i only just discovered what it really means to be a witness.

  i grew up thinking it all rather harmless door-knocking and not having christmas, (which seemed pretty grim to a kid in itself) now, however, i have begun a relationship with a jw, well, an 'inactive' (i think you say) witness.

  Have him read "Crisis of conscience" by Ray Franz if he is not afraid of the real truth, I'm thrid generation with roots back to Rutherford.

  Its the hardest thing he'll ever have to do, because of the shunning by his JW family and friends, his own doubts are what has made him inactive, but he is questioning whether he is right in doing so, he needs to fortify himslef with knowledge that what he is doing is right.

  Were the "Annointed" that got disfellowshipped still "Annointed"??????

  when i was a teenager we had these two annointeds in our hall, man and woman, very very gung-ho elder, pioneer type.

  well, they had an affair for many years and then got df...i always wondered, if god chose them to be annointed, did he now reject them.....or did they just take a break, because as soon as they got reinstats they were partaking again?????

  what was the official stance on that???

  Judge not less you be judged, judgement is not up to mankind but to God, so when you hear the saying "they say this and that" its not Jehovah, the scriptures shed light, I hat that word, and acts as a guild, yet they in themselves do not pronouce judgment, we are all dead anyway because of inherent sin. How doyou put limits on underserved kindness and forgiveness?

  First of all its not the organization, or the elders who do the anointing, that number was known before creation. That statis is reserved and judged by Jehovah, just as is the great crowd. "Many are called but few are choosen, there may be twice the number of partakers that will accually acsend to heaven and there is no adverse judgement for those who partake "worthly". These are not sealed until after death and what man knows what happens then. It is presumptiounes on anyones part to say who is or who is not anointed.Dissfellowshipping is a manmade idea. No one can remove you from Jehovah or take away HIS spirit, but HIM.

  No longer with the organization....but anointed.

  Uninvited--A Wonderful "Witness"

  i attended my mother's memorial at the kingdom hall saturday afternoon.

  even with the jw sermon tagged on, my cousin did a lovely service for her.

  there were many jws and non-jws in attendence.

  Try this one on for size: 3rd generation, married 35 years, pioneer, prison, my presious wife has her cancer come out of remision and wants the kids to return to the WT, so..with my cooperation she divorces me, cause we dont talk, moves to the state they live in, under a short prognoise of her life, and finds they want nothing to do with the JW life...after a month she calls me and wants to get back together. I never saw her again

  At her memorial I was allowed to set at the back of the KH, talk to no one and not allowed to go to the graveside. We had both DA ourselves 5 years earlier. The JW family was waiting there with open arms to thier dying daughter and sister, but couldnt have her over for dinner while she was still alive.

  Bitter, brokenhearted, decieved no more.

  I only wished I could have shared all I have learned with her, she always said if Jehovah gave us the reasoning power to ask questions then there should be answers to those question from the all powerful GB, we never found those answers inside that organization.

  Last Assembly ever!

  she has told my sister this is the last assembly they will be having in this system.

  Can You be announced DF w/Out a JC Meeting?

  my parents just got a phone call from a longtime inactive witness who heard from his very active witness wife that they were announced df'd.

  we don't know if its it true or not becuase none of us go to meetings anymore and have no inside sources at the hall to tell us (as we are apostates, who would tlak to us????

  ) the elders have tried a couple times to talk to them but my dad avoids them.

  Yup, and it more and more common, they have a stradgy now that relieves them of that blood guilt, they ask if you believe the organization is Jehovahs channel of truth, or do you consider yourself a JW? and if the answer is no, they read aletter of Dissassociation. The organization is made up of attorney minded writers and if you start to read with understanding, you will see how things are "simular to" or "paralells" a prophecy or doctrine, but NEVER says, fullfilled, and then it will go on to state forcefully that this is how it applies, with out taking resposiblity for the misunderstandings and misdirections given. There is always a backdoor for them to slide out of, and then lay the blame on the sheep who have been lead down a path that has cost them lively hood and many times thier lives and freedom.

  i asked my sil if he can help me to get copies of july 1 through to sept 1 watchtowers.

  he knows that i am disillusioned with the wt and that i am born in, but never been baptised and he doesn't shun me.. here is his reply.. "yes i can help, but it would depend on why you wanted them and what you wanted to accomplish by reading those issues, :-).

  i have had a few ideas on how to reply, but i would like to hear your comments before i reply.. .

  Have you tried getting th WT CD library? I'd be glad to burn a copy and send it to you.
