It won't be over until the WTS sees this girl is dead.
The saddest thing is that if she does die, they'll be blaming it all on the transfusion, never mind all they delays they've been causing to prevent the treatment.
Makes me soooo angry.

something i?ve wanted to ask you all for a while.
had you 100% denounced jw doctrine to yourself at the time of your leaving the org?
i know many have said that specific issues prompted them to leave i.e., wt membership in the un, silent lambs/child molestation policy, malawi political party card issues, inconsistent changes in doctrine i.e., 1975/1914 generation not passing?new light begets old light begets new light etc.
How many years away from the faith do you have to spend before the old inputs are completely overwritten by the new ones, will it take another 19years??
I once heared a specialist say (in a TV documentary about cults incl. JWs) that it takes about as long as one was in a cult to successfully deprogramme that individual. I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear but I must say that in my case it has been true. I was brought up a JW and left at age 18, I'm now almost 36 and it has only been in the last year that I've begun to find myself and some sort of "inner peace".

did you miss it?
- the poll i mean!!
mrs ozzie and i have been in a different part of the world for a while where things such as jwd are quite unknown - can you believe that?
3. Helped me to have a good conscience.....I've got one, where's yours? (Even if there wasn't anything of much "spiritual value" in it)
saturday seems to be much preferred over sunday, so this years bbq will be held on saturday, july 9th, commencing around 2 pm.
location is our home in weston super mare.
as usual, the day will be very boozy and proceedings will conclude in the waverley pub.
Sound good to me. Just have to check with holiday dates though.
Question : Can I bring a non ex-JW family member?
how many, due to watchtower restrictions on education, are or were janitors, bus drivers, waitresses, ect.
this is not to disparrage any of these honorable jobs - just wondering how widespread this was.
i never attended a congregation where there were not several janitors.
Not a janitor, but part of an early morning cleaning crew in supermarkets. This left me time to do pioneering!!! When I think back .....
that'll teach me to eat beans on toast, yesterday!!!.
the wind is really picking up and the town is clearing as everyone is getting sent home from work.. we're expecting 100mph gusts here, on the west coast of scotland.. i'm gonna go home and get cosy, with a roaring coal fire.
it's just as well our houses are built for severe weather!.
Glad you're OK. I wanted to send you a message before, but have been having trouble with my server (again).
and if you are do you care to tell why you are disfellowshipped?
for those who were not what prevented you from being disfellowshipped?
curious minds want to know.
Df'd but don't really know why.I suppose it was living under the same roof as my (now) husband, although they had no proof that I was doing anything else. I had changed congregations and countries.Never attended my JH, then got a phone call from an elder who announced that I had been "put out" of the congregation (being French, I don't think he knew the correct word in English). Now shunned by just about all my remaining JW family.
hai,.
i would like to introduce myself to you all.... i'm nanda, left the jw's a few years ago and i leave in the netherlands ... are there other members from other countries here?.
greetings, nanda.
Hi Nanda,
Welcome to the board. I'm also a newbie and have found this site has helped me through a lot of ex-JW issues.
I live in France.
Happy posting
.
i am originally from the fort worth/grand prairie area....just curious as to where others have come from?
From England originally, now ex-pat in France.
