TTATT Billboard outside Belton, TX JW Conventions - Fundraising campaign

millions of people's lives are being adversely affected every day by jehovah's witnesses' (also known as jw.org) harmful teachings of shunning former members, refusal of certain kinds of medical treatment, social isolation, and harboring of child molesters.
the goal of this campaign is to sponsor a billboard that will be targeted to current members traveling to the belton, tx conventions july 31st - aug 9th 2015. these conventions attract thousands of current members and hundreds of prospective members.

This link was on another thread and when I watched It I was-- so heartbroken. It was a painful watch for me b/c I recall that time period so well. There was just outright apostate hysteria. People were being dragged to the back room on any kind of suspicion of apostacy. Some of the boe's did some really dirty underhanded things against folks they considered apostate. Many ( boe's ) were just like company men who would have buried bodies if they'd had to. My mom was told to get rid of or burn her books early WTS books b/c " the apostates were using them against us". I stopped them from destroying my GF's books. Da*n them to H*LL.
If only I could have seen this at that time. I got in possession of a few tapes that were being passed around but nothing like this. For me it would be another 10 yrs. before I could walk out the door and 6 yrs. more before I was completely done with jws.

how I wish I could have seen that film all those years ago.
want to note at 37:35 in the wt. article " Days like Noah" ( words to that affect), that higher ups in the ORG are have become involved in homosexuality, CHILD MOLESTING etc. They admit this in writing.
That was a devastating film to watch as those people where in their late 20's early 30's as I was at that time. So much of my life gone .
I just posted this on Facebook. Hope others will read this, IN FACT, this film deserves it own thread so NO ONE will miss it.

That was not a very mature a thing to do. People have a right to assemble for religious worship even if we personally don't like it or agree with it. Doing things like this just make the apostates look like crazies who would disrupt and otherwise uneventful meeting. -

Separated from a loveless Marriage

Fortunately for you this is 2015 and the police know what spousal abuse is and are willing to believe you-- call them. Ask for help . You can get out of this relationship , even if the only way out is moving into a shelter. By calling the police it makes a paper trail and it will be embarrassing for the elders and spouse if there has been numerous calls to the police. Most importantly you don't have to pay with your life or self respect by staying with someone who would hit you ( I would hit back too!! )
You just made a mistake marrying someone who lied to you. This can be fixed. Don't waste your life in a loveless marriage. Leave and separate. Don't worry about divorce right now. One thing I have learned in life
is that all things come to an end eventually.
Your spouse may want out and is just trying to look good in front of elders. They may have another person picked out already. Many jws spouses set their mate up so they can marry another.
If you leave and just go on with your life your spouse will eventually make a move. Really is living alone worse than this?

i won't post a link because most are loaded with pop-ups and you have to be careful about accidental downloads.
mine was no exception, but i managed to keep the computer clean.

you can watch it on Daily Motion without creating an account -at least I did. I have my pop up blocker on high and Malewarebytes on so if it was a malicious site I would have been warned. It was a very disturbing film, hits a bit too close to home.
