William Miller is still held in very high regard in the Seventh Day Adventist church and in the Advent Christian Church even today. Those churches and the Jehovahs Witness religion have a common spirituall connection. Barry

Recently there was an Australian working in a hotel in Kuwait she was raped at the hotel. She had injuries and went to the hospital and she also went and reported it to police. She went to court and in half an hour judgement was decided she along with her attackers were incarcerated for 12 months. It made no difference that she was raped only that it is illegal to have sex outside of marriage

I forgot to mention many of the early Seventh Day Adventists came from a church called The Christian Connection a church which doesn't exist today. The Christian connection didn't accept the trinity and a SDA George Knight a PHD wrote an artical and said many of the early Adventists couldn't join the church today because they didn't believe the trinity. Men such as Uriah Smith and early theologyn and James Springer White Ellen Whites husband were Arians from the christian connection. Barry

The Seventh Day Adventists originally didn't believe in the trinity doctrine even up until the 1950s much of official literature was Arian. Today the official position is the belief in the trinity but their many independant SDA ministries that believe in Arianism. They believe the official church has apostacised in believing the trinity and they call it the omega of apostacy because Ellen White predicted of an apostacy involving the personality of Jesus Christ. by Designer Stubble inpage 8 of the latest wt (insider version) has a whole page dedicated to the question whether it is appropriate to sit next to a disfellowshipped child at meetings.. not sure how to paste this in, but check jw.org.
perhaps someone can do this for me.. horrible, no words really on how pharisee like their cult grip and control has become!.
first of all, without any shame they are talking about disfellowshipped minors.

The most telling point here is why do they have to even talk about such issues. Why do they have to in this artical mention it is required the person "behave". what standard are they using apparently their own standard. What if the person has some grievance how does he or she express it?

Matthew says to fear not those who destroy the body but fear God who can destroy both the body and soul in hell. So maybe the punishmsnt in hell is only for a time.

by Terry inwhere do jehovah's witnesses get all their contrary ideas and doctrines?.
isn't it directly from heaven because they are "anointed" and have been selected as jehovah's channel of communication?.

I come from an adventist background and most if not all events about Ellen White are fake. Ive never believed her as supernatural or haveing the 'gift of prophecy and I have had many arguements with ministers in the past. She had one vision where she saw the planets in our solar system described them and the number of moons they had. It so happened the planets had the exact number of moons they had at that time discovered but the information is currently outdated. Did God know how many moons around jupitor or did he only know the number of moons there because the telescopes on earth are not powerful enough?
Ellen white got all her information out of books that were currently available at that time.
The theological truth that did come out of adventist theology is premillienilism because many of the churches believed at that time in postmillienilism which has since been consigned to the scrapheap.
