well when a witness i believed there was a certain mental level that humans were supposed to be at , perfect.. they had a potential that they were designed to achieve.. a standard at which you could be considered fully operational.. but is there such a thing?.

Very interseting application but from my understanding it only applies to the measurement of the velocity and position of a subatomic particle, any application by extension has no scientific basis and is apparently not within the scope of the law, but bloody interesting thought !!!

Physical Appearance since leaving the JW's
by jolly_green_giant ini was never baptised when i attended the kingdom hall so i went to the meetings with sholder length hair (with my jw parents).
one time i had been approached by the elders concerning this matter.
they asked me if i planned to cut my hair and progress in the truth and get baptised.

Not that i would like to instigate a debate with you over this issue but with regards to your " general " opinion on the matter, im sure others that are reading through this thread will recognise that there are NO true JW defenders operating here. Whomever claim to be, are not representing the true standpoints of the WTBTS, therfore your own over simplified, judgemental " analysis " applies to no one here, and therfore is borrowed from the straw man falacy.
Esp our once resident non corp sanctioned, so called anointed one YK, whom certainly does a great deal of damage for the org in his representation, which as we found out in time was little more than a very small angry man, voicing his personal biases, in a judgemental and strictly dishonest way, and often was seen and found out to be a real fanatic.
Until you guys can attract competent defenders, the likes of Staford, your grievences and opposing views toward the WTBTS will not be answered and addressed, therefore not allowing for the reaching of meanifull conclusions and judgements, only frustrated erronious ones.
Hey AF, you made Stafi leave with his tails between his legs, we all enjoyed those debates in the old H2O you had with him, where according to the polls at that time ( and IMHO ) you were certainly viewed as the winner ( if you could say there is a winner in these matters ), you were able to direct your succinct and well honed knowledge and wit, toward one that was worthy of it, how i miss those days of enlightinment. YOU yourself, through your postings and rebuttles, have helped thousands to evaluate, and re-evaluate their allegence to the org, ONLY because we could see both sides represented to satisfaction. I thank you for this with much emphasis my friend, and long for the time where this forum will be what it was designed to be.

it's quite apparent to me as an observer of the movement for more than 50 years, that jws are nowhere near as obsessed with the imminence of armageddon as they once were.
when i was young, i would notice attractive young jw girls would wear ``aaa' (``available after armageddon'') badges at assemblies.

I believe it can be done. If and only if, the " bad " practice was commited before ones baptism and then carried through and practised continuously after ones baptism, the baptism is regarded as being
" falso ".Example : one guy i know well was smoking fags ( not joelbear lights...i mean winni blues ) before he got dunked, and continued practicing this through and after, got busted with the durry.... then indicated to the bosses that he never had quit before dunking took place actually. They reasoned it as a no-dunker!! Maybe this french poofter brother had a similar circumstance, maybe he was a pillow bitter before and remained a fudge masher after which rendered him a no-dunker ?!
Methinks their logic may be sound and may even be scriptural.

last week @ the hall...
by BATHORY in....so the meeting finishes and im ready to bolt to the new middle eastern resteraunt just opened around the corner, and this brother comes up to me, funny actually he rarely speaks to me.... it was after the last weeks watchtower study ( those there will relate to this ).....he comes and starts talking about the study, and how jehovah when he destroy's .999 times 6 x 10 9 of earthlings he will be within his wright because " they cant say they werent told and didnt have enough time to do something about it ".
..well bugger me, good afternoon to you to brother *cockburn...hungry ??.
anyhow this blokes gone on and on about how fair this last destruction will be.

Some people need profesional help when they witness even a brutal stabing or bashing ..etc
