Advice From an MS
by BoozeRunner inreading some posts tonite made me think of some advice i was given by a ms one day.. at the kh one sunday, i had genuinely asked brother g. how he was feeling.
i knew he had health problems and could see he was kind of uncomfortable.
he replied that his blood pressure had been high, and he was feeling the effects of it.. he then went on to explain that he rarely goes into detail because most brothers and sisters dont want to hear a persons problems.

Well, we are of course superior to any other peoples from anywhere in the world as evidenced by our highly intilligent president and by our undying support of all UN and world accord agreements, like the landmine treaty, the ICBM treaty, the kyoto accord and others! :)
But yeah, the US was founded not just by any immigrants, we were founded at first mostly by religious nuts that you europeans couldn't stand so you kicked them out over there. So now, all our laws are far too religious oriented. C'mon, we were the only country in the world to ban alcohol!!! We gave rise to Al Capone because of that moronic idea.
Current laws ban any government going to family health programs that so much as teach and inform about abortion as an option. Current laws also fund religious 'charity' that is prejudice against homosexuals (boy scouts for example) and we ban the burning of the flag..thats nationalism as a religion. We gave rise to many weird crazy cults, including the mormons and the International Church of Christ. Don't forget the Branch Davidians and that crazy cult that thought theyd ride a comet tail and wore reebok shoes.
So the real reason the JW's arose in the US is it is a hotbed of fanatical 'christian' cults.

Franz 3rd best hebrew scholar in world?
by sleepy inrecently at my local district convention it was stated by a speaker that he had met someone on the the ministry who had told him that fred ranz was one of the three best hebrew scholars in the world.. this didn't sound true to me for several reasons, but could anyone with knowledge of this suject shed some light on the matter?

It's difficult to argue with something so enormously referenced by verifiable facts and authorities as this statement by the DC speaker. Obviously, we must just accept the inevitability of it's complete correctness.
That's the way i feel about anything that comes out of my mouth. Here, I'm about to do it again:

If you are wanting to feel a connection with God and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be assured that that is the way to go, then approach some other Christian Church and tell them what you are doing and what you are searching for.
How the hell can you have a personal reltionship with air? With 'someone' that never shows himself, never speaks to you, never lifts a hand to help you or your loved ones. How? Can you really call such a person a friend? Or loving? How can Jesus be your best friend? Might as well worship a rock. At least a rock has a presense, and you can throw it at someone. In that manner, having a personal relationship with a rock would probably be more benefecial. (You don't beleive in the LORD, the hard and somewhat smooth to the touch Rock? Take THIS heathen! <sound of the LORD conking unbeleiver sqaurely on head.>)

The governin' booty will likely fall just like Al Capone did..taxes!!! They do many things to try to skip out of taxes, like in France and with the new literature arangemtn in the US on 'donation basis.' Don't forget un-taxed church property and un-taxed rent and many many other things. The government usually can care less about cults unless they are outright commiting ritual kitten sacrifices (sorry fred kitty) or are stock piling nuclear warheads.
Besides obvious killing and preparing to kill, the government will act if the cult is stealing their money. So maybe someone like Kent should dig up dirt on the societies financial practises. I beleive I read somewhere they do some sort of illegal money laundering in that they convert dollars to pounds, then to marks, then to yen, etc etc until it comes back as dollars again but with much higher value.
